The public is asked to be aware of illegal booster vaccines because the new booster vaccine will be implemented in January 2022. Residents are asked not to be tempted by the boosters offered because they do not know that the contents of the vaccine are genuine or fake.
The pandemic makes everyone want to avoid Corona and they do everything they can to avoid contracting the Covid-19 virus. Apart from being disciplined in public health protocols, they also want to be vaccinated because they want to have a good immune system so they don’t get infected with Corona. The vaccine is given 2 times with an interval of 3 weeks for each injection.
In 2022, the government will provide a booster vaccine, aka a third injection, some are free and some are paid. Boosters are given because vaccines are very important to protect the body from Corona, especially the Omicron variant. Omicron’s malignancy is very powerful because it spreads 5 times faster, the proof is that within a few weeks the number of covid patients jumped from only 187 to 468 people per day.
Even though there is Omicron, we must remain calm and not panic to look for booster vaccines ourselves because the program will only start on January 12, 2022. Even then, the elderly are prioritized because they have a high risk of contracting Corona. Meanwhile, others have to be patient to wait for the schedule from the government.
People are very enthusiastic in looking for booster vaccines, but don’t be in a hurry to get an injection.
Calm down and wait your turn to get it. Spokesperson for Vaccination of the Ministry of Health, Doctor Siti Nadia Tarmizi, found that there were already people who received booster vaccines but it was illegal because the data did not enter the Peduli Protect application.
Doctor Siti advised the public not to look for booster vaccines themselves because the current ones are still illegal. In a sense, when there is an illegal vaccine, it is doubtful because first, is the contents of the ampoule really a vaccine? Don’t be fooled because you have paid hundreds of thousands of rupiah, it turns out that it contains other fluids that are not effective in increasing the body’s immunity from Corona.
Second, it is not known where and what type of illegal vaccine was obtained, so there is a fear that the contents will expire or not be stored properly in cold temperatures (because each type of vaccine must be stored in a refrigerator with a different temperature). Do not let the booster vaccine injection turns out to be zonk because the vaccine is not effective in increasing the body’s immunity.
While the third, booster vaccines can be injected by individuals who are not real health workers. Aren’t you afraid that what turns out to be injecting is fake health workers? So that the injection marks will leave keloids that make the skin look ugly.
Stay calm and don’t be swayed by invitations to seek booster vaccines because the Government is trying optimally to provide vaccines. Indeed, at this time the Omicron variant of Corona has entered Indonesia, but there is no need to panic until you are looking for a booster vaccine and then end up getting an illegal one.
Don’t steal the start first and hunt for the booster vaccine for fear of getting Corona and then go to Singapore or other countries to get it. Indeed, there is an original booster vaccine, but it is very risky to travel abroad during a pandemic. Not yet added the quarantine period of up to 10 days.
The public must be aware of illegal booster vaccines because they may not contain the original vaccine and have no effect at all to increase immunity against Corona. In addition, it is possible that the person who injects it is not a genuine health worker, so the risk is high.
