Opinion, suaradewata.com – Most people in Indonesia believe that President Joko Widodo is able to bring Indonesia out of the economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic. This is shown by the research institute Saiful Mujani Research (SMRC).
The founder of SMRC, Saiful Mujani said, as many as 73% of the people believed that the government, in this case the president, could lead out of the economic crisis due to Covid-19. Meanwhile, respondents who lacked confidence in the government to bring the country out of the crisis were 21 percent.
Meanwhile, 2 percent did not believe at all. The rest, as much as 4 percent of respondents did not answer.
The survey results are apparently in line with the respondent’s satisfaction rate with the work of the central government in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic. Where as many as 65% of respondents with the performance of the central government were under the leadership of President Jokowi.
Then, there were 28.6 percent of respondents who claimed to be dissatisfied and 4.6 percent of respondents who were not at all satisfied. The rest, 2.1 percent of respondents chose not to answer.
On different occasions. The Executive Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) is optimistic that the Indonesian nation can get out of the crisis.
KH RobikinEmhas as Chairman of the PBNU said that Indonesia is experiencing a health crisis and an economic downturn due to Covid-19. This is not only felt by Indonesia, even the world is predicted to have economic growth of minus 5 to 6.7 percent. Indonesia is currently only minus 3 percent, which means it is still far better than the average world economy.
According to Robikin, the Indonesian nation still has to instill optimism towards everything that is happening today. As a nation that has strong religious statements, it must be sure that all diseases have a cure. This is a promise of Allah SWT. PBNU also advised the public to be careful to pay attention to health protocols, and to always be optimistic that all of this will end.
On the previous occasion, the Minister of Communication and Informatics (Menkominfo) Johnny G. Plate was optimistic that Indonesia would be successful in fighting and ending the Covid-19 pandemic. As long as all elements of society can consistently comply with each policy and handling protocol.
The Minister of Communication and Informatics also said that various protocols for handling Covid-19 such as health, transportation, communication and other protocols were decisive for Indonesia to enter a new normal after facing a situation like the current one.
WHO will immediately revoke the status of the Covid-19 pandemic when all government policies and requests can be implemented and followed properly. Although the revocation of pandemic status does not directly break the chain of spread of the outbreak.
Although Covid-19 is still spreading in Indonesia, we must be optimistic that this pandemic will be resolved quickly. With a note, all elements of society are willing to comply with health regulations and protocols and still maintain body immunity. It is estimated that the end of the Covid-19 Pandemic is the end of 2020 and it is hoped that if everything can be orderly, it will end sooner.
The Covid-19 pandemic is still affecting the people of Indonesia. Especially for those who have congenital diseases in the lungs, such as tuberculosis and asthma, this group is certainly more susceptible to exposure to Covid because the strength of their lungs is not as strong as healthy people.
In dealing with Covid-19, it doesn’t mean that everyone has to become an impromptu medical staff. But it is more about obedience to various regulations. For example, the recommendation to stay at home should not be a burden.
If you really have to leave the house, it is obligatory to wear a mask, even though the price is cheap, cloth masks are effective in preventing the spread of Covid-19. In addition, don’t forget to always bring a hand sanitizer and wash your hands frequently before entering or leaving public places.
In addition, what should not be underestimated is the protocol regarding physical distancing. We know that a crowd or crowd is something that is very vulnerable to the transmission of covid-19.
The thing to remember is that all efforts of mutual cooperation and hard work to always maintain cleanliness and wearing this mask are not in vain.
With public discipline and adherence to health protocols, of course this will increase optimism that Covid-19 will be able to leave this country soon.
