Armed criminal groups (KKB) often disturb the Papuan people, so they must be completely eradicated. They terrorize too often and their actions are getting more and more brutal , so it needs to be crushed immediately.
KKB Get back into action. On April 25, 2021, Group of Armed Criminal (KKB) once again attacked the forces of Security was on duty and resulted in the Head of the Regional BIN ( Cabinda ) Papua, Brigadier General TNI Gusti Putu Danny Nugrah a fall. The incident occurred at around 15.30 WIT in Beoga , Puncak Regency, Papua.
Beoga District , Puncak Regency, Papua, is often marked by harassment by armed groups. At least there are a number of records of the KKB’s barbaric acts against residents. Earlier on Thursday ( 8/4), KKB allegedly shot dead an elementary school teacher named Oktavianus Rayo. The next day, they shot another junior high school teacher named Yonathan Randen in Beoga District .
After the incident, three school buildings were burned down in the area. In fact, the burning continued until it finally burned down the houses of members of the Puncak Regency DPRD.
Afterwards, on Wednesday (14/4), KKB shot another motorcycle taxi driver named Udin in Omikia District , Puncak Regency. And the next day shooting high school student named Ali Mom in Ilaga .
At that time, the victim was asked to buy betel nuts and cigarettes. After being escorted to Uloni’s village , Ali Mom was instead shot and hacked to death.
The KKB’s heinous actions should be ended. According to the Social Political Observer of Pasundan University Bandung (UNPAS), Dr. Tugiman , SH, M.Sc. , Revealed that the sadistic, brutal and terror acts against the people carried out by the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) or Papuan separatists could be charged with Terrorism.
Tugiman said that the KKB had carried out acts of terror as formulated in Law Number 15 of 2003 in conjunction with Law Number 5 of 2018 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of terrorism.
DPR Commission I member Bobby Adhityo Rizaldi supports the inclusion of the KKB as a terror group . According to him, this redefinition is important for overcoming acts of violence in Papua in a comprehensive and structured manner. It is also an intermediary socio-political construct in which criminals with ‘little’ arsenal of weapons are under the authority of the police. Meanwhile, separatists are handling them militarily. Hopefully this redefinition can reduce tensions in Papua.
When KKB is categorized as a terrorist, it is not only handled by the TNI, but also by the BNPT. Because it is a special agency to deal with terrorists. This assistance is very valuable because it is hoped that it will be more massive and intensive to arrest KKB members who are very disturbing. So that they can be quickly disbanded.
KABINDA Papua has died as a hero of the nation’s kusuma. BIN continues to work in total to directly combat the Papuan KKB terrorists and restore security after the outcry of the Papuan KKB terrorists.
The community hopes that the change in the status of the KKB to become a terrorist will become a new hope for reconciling Papua. If the OPM and KKB are eradicated, then life will be peaceful. No more fear of doing activities outside the home. Because the KKB has disappeared from Bumi Cendrawasih and the OPM is disbanded.
