Kotawaringin Timur – CIDISS. Agrarian problems are a frequent problem, both companies and citizens. This issue becomes a concern for some parties. But this problem seems still happen. Even the problem occurs almost in Indonesia.
In the issue between citizens and corporations, problems often occur such as double land holding between corporations and citizens. This is suspected because the government gave permission to the company to open the land, but on the other hand, the community has right as the ownership of the land.
Currently, land conflict between citizens and companies are still happening in Kotawaringin Timur (Kotim) regency. By the problem, Government was asked to immediately resolve the conflict.
Chairman of the Commission II DPRD Kotim, Rudianur, said that violations outside the HGU seem like not be resolved.
The existence of local governments to work harder to discipline rogue companies in order the land issues can be solved. Land conflict occurs due to unselective of local government since the beginning giving licensing the company.
The impacts, today, many emerging problems such as double land holder but they are irresponsibility to solve it immediately and arise a conflict between citizens and the company.
“It should from the beginning, the government should be selective. By the existence of such problems, it makes conflict between citizens and companies, consequently often occur theft the oil and many more,” he said.
