CIDISS – Good news comes from Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. Saturday (23/1/2016), Mayor of Palangka Raya HM Riban Satia holds a doctorate of public administration after successfully passed the test of open Graduate School of social and Political Science Gadjah Mada University (UGM) in Yogyakarta.
The Mayor of gives the familiar names Riban successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Shared resource management: Environmental degradation and the management of Lake Takapan, the city of Palangka Raya “in front of the team of testers.
The team of examiners consisting of the Chairman of the Public Administration Doctoral Program Manager Prof Dr Agus Pramusinto MDA, who accompanied co-1 promoter Dr. dewi Haryani Susilastuti and co-2 promoter Dr. Nunuk Dwi Retnandari. As well as a member of a team of testers at once appraisers, Prof Dr M Baiquni, Dr. Suharko, Dr. Erwan Agus Purwanto and Dr. Pujo Semedi Hargo Yuwono.
His dissertation deals with environmental sustainability the natural hardness, affect the quality of life of Community citizens in the village of Rungan Tumbak, Palangka Raya which are cultural and political Takapan Lake has an important position of the Dayak community.
Then create a policy alternative Riban boils down to the construction of the tourist destinations in the region of Lake Takapan-based advantages of ecological and local wisdom.
To be known, Riban is the third person Regents/mayors in Kalteng success earning a doctorate during tenure. Previously, there were Ujang Iskandar while serving as Regent of Kotawaringin Barat and Willy M Yoseph while serving as Regent of Murung Raya.
