CIDISS – Pangkalan Bun, Kotawaringin Barat regency, Central Kalimantan Province has big attention of public. It is because there was Keraton Nusantara Festival (FKN) X 2016 in that town. The festival did on 9 – 12 October 2016.
At least, there were 43 kingdoms or sultanate who attended in that agenda, also some foreign guest from Australia, Philippine, Pakistan, and England.
Novianto, committee in FKN X state the foreign guest who attended, Ballabi Umaima Silongan (Reigning Queen) and 3 other participants from Kabuntalan Sultanate (Mindanao, Filipina), Dahot Khadim Hussain HRH Datuaj Rajo Wassam Nawab Ali who is Member National Assembly of Pakistan and Paul, a journalist from London, England.
Prince Ratu Alidin Sukma Alamsyah give a speech in opening of Seminar and Dialogue of Culture “The role and function of Keraton Nusantara in facing Age Challenge” in hall of Antakusuma university, Pangkalan Bun, Tuesday (11/10/2016). In the speech, Prince Ratu Alidin Sukma Alamsyah, sultan the 15 in Kotawaringin Palaca, request the synergy and support from government to maintenance the culture, custom and tradition from ancestor, then it will be never extinct.
Besides that, there are art and culture, legacy of Kotawaringin Palace, Prince Ratu Alidin Sukma Alamsyah remind, ancestor of Kotawaringin has been named on public institution in Pangkalan Bun. The founder of Kotawaringin Palace, Prince Adipati Antakusuma has been named for University and Sultan Imanudin for general hospital.
The opening of Keraton Nusantara X is on Sampuraga stadion, Monday (10/10/2016). 43 kingdoms and sultanate attended and represent for their own area. The opening is begun with marching band perform, history of Kutaringin Palace and colossal dance.
Governor of Central Kalimantan province, Sugianto Sabran through his Assisstent I ketut Widi Wirawan said that keraton (Palace) is a source of culture that always exist until now. Through FKN, the culture must be maintenance.
