Social Minister Khofifah Indar Parawansa requested commitment of all social pillars to keep trying to maintain the unity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
Khofifah said that when opening the selection and orientation of the “Pilar-Pilar Social Achievement” consisting of Karang Taruna, Disaster Preparedness Taruna (Tagana), Social Welfare Labor Sub-District (TKSK), Social Welfare Institution (LKS) and Community Social Worker (PSM) In Jakarta.
Khofifah said that their existence is very important in the efforts of outreach and acceleration of public services. They are actually the frontliners or guardians of social services throughout Indonesia when for example we (the Government) must serve inland areas, border points, outermost and outer islands.
Therefore, Khofifah hopes that all existing social pillars can respond quickly to various social problems. Certainly according to the cluster of their respective duties and social organizations.
Khofifah further said that the representatives of the social pillars of achievement from 34 Provinces in Indonesia have duties and responsibilities that cannot be considered trivial. Although reciprocal gained is still far from expectations.
In his press statement, Khofifah explained that not all can do this work. Because it all starts from a heart call. Only those who have a high social life are able to live it. Take for example Tagana, if asked what they get all this time. Money? Pulse alone is not enough. But they are able and willing to help or respond quickly when natural disasters and social disasters occur in the community. The SOP is tight that is 1 hour they have to be there.
Khofifah expects social pillars to help evoke sense of mutual cooperation, tolerance, harmony and nationalism of the people of Indonesia. Given the current in society many emerging acts of anarchism, intolerance, and radicalism, which has the potential to cause disintegration of the nation. Let us together build a commitment to keep NKRI, build a commitment to keep the red white, build a commitment to strengthen the integration of the nation.
Let us as the people of Indonesia are committed to guarding beloved NKRI. Lots of efforts can be done to maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia. However, all pursed on the following four important things that are returned to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution as a guideline for the life of the nation and state which is wrapped with the unity of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika as the unifier of the nation and the defense of the State.
