Not a few parties considered that the speech delivered by Anies when making a comparison between how development in the era of SBY and Jokowi was an attempt to manipulate data. The reason is, he disclosed things that were not at all based on the facts. In fact, Jokowi continues to intensify infrastructure development which is balanced with efforts to develop the quality of human resources in order to welcome the upcoming Golden Indonesia 2045.

The speech delivered by Anies Baswedan at the 21st Anniversary of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) about himself comparing how development in the era of leadership under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and during the era of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at this time immediately caused a lot of public controversy.

How could it not be, because the speech delivered by the Presidential Candidate Candidate (Bacapres) from the Democratic National Party (NasDem) coalition was considered not at all based on data and facts on the ground.

It is known that Anies even mentioned that the construction of free (free) roads that were built during President SBY’s leadership turned out to be far more than the construction of free roads during the current administration of President Jokowi.

It is clear that this controversial statement immediately provoked a lot of debate among the public, so that many of the public considered that the data presentation mentioned by the former governor of DKI Jakarta was completely inconsistent with the reality on the ground.

In fact, one of the residents considered that Anies’ words in his speech during the Milad PKS event were a form of fraud by using data manipulation.

It should be noted that road construction data obtained officially from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) shows that the increase in the length of non-toll roads built during the era of the leadership of the sixth President of Indonesia, namely Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono himself only increased by around 3,941 kilometers (km) , whereas in the era of the leadership of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, non-toll roads were successfully built and increased to a length of 8,395 kilometers (km).

Not only the construction of non-toll roads, it is clear that there are significant differences between the eras of the two Presidents of the Republic of Indonesia, because Jokowi was able to more than 2 (two) times outperform the construction of non-toll roads in the SBY era, but what should also be proud of is all of Jokowi’s development. carried out even without the need to take 10 (ten) years to lead because until now, his term of office has not yet expired.

So that it can be said, the data presented by Anies in that speech seemed as if he wanted to reveal a fact, but in fact all of that was just a series of fraud and also an attempt at manipulation as expressed by one of the netizens. It is clear that the construction of free roads in the Jokowi era far exceeded those in the SBY era.

Meanwhile, it turns out that the current era of President Joko Widodo’s leadership has not only succeeded in carrying out physical development, but other non-physical developments such as efforts to continue to improve the quality of human resources (HR) of all people in Indonesia are also being accelerated.

President Jokowi’s endeavors are to be able to achieve and prepare very well for Indonesia Gold in 2045. The effort and hard work he has put in so far has even received great appreciation from many circles.

Regarding this matter, Deputy Chancellor II of Surabaya State University (UNESA), Suprapto gave his high appreciation to President Joko Widodo. According to the academician, the key to success in realizing Golden Indonesia 2045 is when there is a balance of development between the physical infrastructure sector and also the non-physical sector, such as the quality of its people.

With efforts to develop the quality of human resources in Indonesia, which President Jokowi continues to accelerate, this will become a strong foundation to meet the ideals of a Golden Indonesia when it celebrates exactly 100 (one hundred) years of this nation’s independence.

For information, the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia continues to focus on the 2023 State Budget to be able to build infrastructure in all corners of Indonesia and continue to improve the quality of human resources. In fact, from a total budget of IDR 3,061.2 trillion (Rupiah), the allocation used for the development of superior and productive human resources in the country reaches up to IDR 612.2 trillion (Rupiah).

So it becomes even less exaggerated that there is a public opinion that the speech uttered by Anies Baswedan is a move to manipulate data and defraud the public. The speech conveyed data that was totally incorrect and misguided because it was proven that the leadership during President Jokowi’s time did a lot to build infrastructure and develop the quality of human resources in order to welcome Indonesia Gold 2045.
