The State Intelligence Agency (BIN) provides training on nationalism to the nation’s young generation through education and training programs at the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN) Manado.

This provision is very important because the feeling and attitude of nationalism makes young people have the enthusiasm and awareness to love their homeland.

When the younger generation has a sense of nationalism, one of which is obtained through coaching at AMN Manado, they will be able to maintain the honor of the nation and fight for the interests of the country, so that Indonesia can progress more easily.

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia continues to intensify the implementation of Pancasila in the world of education. To create unity and social justice, the government through BIN, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), the Ministry of Defense (Kemenhan), and the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) established the Nusantara Student Dormitory.

The aim of building AMN is to provide facilities for students from all corners of the archipelago regardless of background.

Previously, a similar building was inaugurated in Surabaya, and after Manado, it will be built in other locations such as Makassar, South Jakarta and Malang.

Students who live at AMN will receive a full LPDP scholarship from the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) while they study, as well as living expenses.

In this way, AMN really helps students from all over the country to pursue higher education with a strong determination to build the progress of the country.

The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), emphasized that the construction of AMN Manado aims to unite the sons and daughters of the nation from various regions in the same place to live.

By uniting under one roof even though they come from different backgrounds, the sense of unity and oneness of the youth will become stronger, resulting in a spirit of mutual cooperation in building the nation in the future.

AMN Manado aims to ensure that the nation’s successors get to know each other.

Therefore, this dormitory can be occupied by students from all corners of the archipelago, both from East and West Indonesia, from Papua to Aceh.

The goal is so that they can all live in harmony and unity. This building was built on five hectares of land granted from the North Sulawesi (Sulut) Provincial Government, where the young people were given national insight.
