Artist and Singer Iwa K: The Momentum ASEAN Summit Increases the Tourism Sector in Labuan Bajo
The holding of the 42nd ASEAN Summit which will take place in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT) continues to receive support from various parties. Among them, support from domestic entertainment actors, singer and rapper Iwa K expressed his support and hoped that the Asean Summit which took place from 9 to 11 May 2023 would run smoothly and safely. Especially providing a socio-economic impact, tourism for the people of NTT as a whole and Labuan Bajo.
“Congratulations on choosing Labuan Bajo as the location for the 2023 ASEAN Summit, becoming a place to promote tourism in Labuan Bajo as a top choice of tourist sites,” said Iwa K
Apart from that, he also invited other domestic entertainment actors to also support the implementation of the ASEAN Summit and to the people of Labuan Bajo to maintain a safe and conducive situation before and after the 42nd Asean Summit was held.
“We are proud to be the host of the Asean Summit. Hopefully this momentum will bring big changes to NTT. Let’s maintain security and order to support this event,” appealed to the singer with the title song Merdeka.
It is known that the ASEAN Summit is a summit meeting between the leaders of ASEAN member countries in relation to economic and cultural development among Southeast Asian countries. Since the formation of ASEAN there have been 41 official summits, 4 unofficial summits and 1 extraordinary summit.
