Jakarta – The Jakarta men’s volleyball team STIN BIN won a dramatic victory over Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi in the first series of the 2023 Proliga final at GOR Tri Dharma Petrokimia Gresik, East Java, Thursday (23/2/2023) evening.
This victory was achieved thanks to very optimal coaching from the BIN Sports Association (PORBIN).
STIN BIN almost lost when in the deciding or fifth set they trailed 11-14. However, Bhayangkara Presisi failed to take advantage of the situation. They made mistakes so that STIN BIN was able to win four consecutive points to reverse the score to 15-14 in the first match of the 2023 Proliga final four.
Meanwhile, the appearance of Dimas Saputra also cannot be underestimated, thanks to him, STIN BIN immediately managed to add 2 (two) consecutive points and ensure a 17-15 win.
Assistant Coach for Jakarta STIN BIN, Agoes Jumaidi, revealed that his team’s play in the fifth set declined and they often made mistakes that benefited their opponents. In addition, the players were also tired so their focus decreased slightly.
“This is called lucky, luck. I was behind and almost lost, but I was able to turn the situation around and win,” said Agoes.
Regarding this, General Pol (Purn) Budi Gunawan stated that his party had paid special attention to being able to develop talent in the field of sports.
All of them are intended to be able to continue to improve achievements at the national level.
“On this very proud occasion, BIN has also begun to pay special attention to personnel, cadets and cadets who have talent in sports. To be able to continue to improve achievements at the national level, as a form of appreciation for the contribution of athletes, we formed the BIN sports union which has 8 sports,” said Budi Gunawan.
It’s not half-hearted, even PORBIN is truly committed to developing Indonesian sports by having athletes and professional trainers.
All of this is in order to develop an ecosystem for sports achievements in the country.
“All sports coaching developed within BIN already has professional athletes and coaches. We raise the potential of the best athletes and coaches at the national level to be involved in creating an achievement development ecosystem so that the potential of the best talents in this institution can be developed, especially among STIN cadets and juniors,” said Budi Gunawan.
In fact, the Head of BIN also emphasized that his party has a great opportunity to be able to make the name of the nation up to the international stage.
“Alhamdulillah, we saw a great opportunity to be able to make the name of the Indonesian nation proud on the international stage through this sport,” he continued.
He is also committed to being able to provide the best as well as a real form of dedication to the nation and state.
