Aceh – In the current era of globalization, the role of youth as agents of change is increasingly important. They are not only the successors of the nation, but also pioneers of innovation and creativity that can drive the wheels of the economy and society. In Aceh, a program has been launched to optimize the potential of youth in the creative field, namely the Aceh Unggul and Hebat Young Aneuk Program (AMANAH).
This program is an initiative of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) under the leadership of General (Pol) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SHMSi which is designed in line with the vision of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to empower the young generation of Indonesia, especially in Aceh, through the development of creativity.
President Jokowi’s support is a breath of fresh air for this program, which aims to facilitate and empower young people in creating a superior generation that is able to compete at the global level.
Aceh, with all its natural beauty and cultural heritage, has tremendous potential in the development of the creative sector. Therefore, AMANAH facilitates the young generation to work in the field of music and audio production. In addition to providing a music studio with sophisticated equipment, training is also provided to optimize its use.
Ridho Brilian, a participant in music and audio production training from AMANAH, admitted that he was very happy with the presence of the facility. According to Ridho, in addition to the infrastructure, the instructors presented were also very competent.
“Today we received training from AMANAH. There are instructors here who help us. After I looked around, for the first time we Acehnese children can enjoy a recording studio that has adequate equipment. Very adequate, even. Quite professional,” said Ridho.
Ridho and the participants who came from various regions in Aceh Province felt fortunate to be given the opportunity to take part in this training.
“Alhamdulillah, according to my friends’ confessions, it is also very helpful because previously in Aceh there was rarely any training like this, which was specifically for audio friends (operators) here,” said Ridho again.
Ridho admitted that most of the participants admitted that it was their first time trying high-tech equipment like in the AMANAH music studio. The materials studied included how to operate a digital mixer and also the use of a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).
Ridho also hopes that the existence of the AMANAH Building can increase the creativity of the young generation of Aceh, especially in the field of music and audio production. Ridho is also optimistic that President Joko Widodo’s flagship program can advance the economy of the people.
President Jokowi’s support shows that the government is serious about paying attention to and empowering the younger generation. With this program, it is hoped that Acehnese youth can play an active role in development, create innovation, and preserve local culture. The success of this program will depend greatly on collaboration between all related parties, so that the ideals of making Acehnese youth superior and great can be realized. []
