Papuan Youth Figures Appreciate President Prabowo’s Commitment to Making Merauke a National Food Barn

Merauke – The General Chairperson of the DPP Pemuda Saireri Papua or Papuan Youth Figure, Gifli Buinei gave high appreciation for President Prabowo Subianto’s commitment in making Merauke a national food barn.
This strategic step is considered a real effort to realize sustainable food security and encourage equitable economic development in the Papua region.
“In this case, I would like to give my appreciation to President Prabowo Subianto who has designated Merauke Regency as a national food barn area,” said Gifli.
According to Gifli, the selection of Merauke is very appropriate because Merauke has very large and fertile agricultural land.
“Of course, the determination of Merauke Regency as a national food barn is due to several factors, the first is the area or its large agricultural land, then its fertile soil and good climate,” he added.
Merauke, which is known for its large area of ​​fertile agricultural land, has great potential to become one of the main food producers in Indonesia. This is in line with the vision of President Prabowo’s government which wants to strengthen the agricultural sector to increase national food security.
“The determination of Merauke as a national food barn, we think that it is the right step that has been taken by President Prabowo Subianto. Of course, we as young people hope that the Merauke area is designated as a national food barn area,” he said.
Gifli also added that the steps taken by President Prabowo to make Merauke a national food barn not only have an impact on the agricultural sector, but also open up great opportunities for improving the welfare of the Papuan people as a whole.
“This is a good step that can then have an impact on the local community and the land of Papua in general. Because any government program must then have an impact on the community,” said Gifli.
