President Jokowi and Head of BINDevelop the Potential of Papuan Youth Through the Inauguration of PYCH
The PYCH building was successfully inaugurated by President Joko Widodo and Head of BIN , General Police ( Purn ) Budi Gunawan . Many parties consider that the building will be able to help develop young Papuan talents so that they can successfully bring Cenderawasih Earth to the world stage.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has proven again how much he cares for all the people of Papua. He showed this concern with his newest agenda recently, namely continuing to provide development facilities for all young people in Papua, with the construction and inauguration of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building in Jayapura on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
Then, with the inauguration of the PYCH building, young people in Papua also expressed their appreciation. Because the building has stood very majestically and also has very complete facilities. Together with the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), General Police ( Purn ) Budi Gunawan made the inauguration.
In fact, before carrying out the inauguration, President Jokowi also had time to talk with young Papuans and do various other things including visiting one by one part of the PYCH building. According to him, the building is a product of creation and innovation.
Of course, with the inauguration of a building which is a means for the development of young talents in the Land of Papua and is also able to improve the welfare of the people in the Land of Papua, the Papuan youths give their highest appreciation to President Jokowi and also to the Head of BIN, General Pol ( Purn ) Budi Gunawan .
One of the young Papuan leaders, Elia Musa Rawar admitted that the building which was the brainchild of the Head of BIN was able to help young Papuans to have facilities and infrastructure to support the foundation for community welfare development in Cenderawasih Earth.
In the same vein, another young Papuan figure , Geroge Saa, stated that he fully supports President Jokowi in the construction and inauguration of the PYCH building. Not forgetting, he also thanked the Head of BIN as the initiator of the Papua Youth Creative Hub building.
With the PYCH development program, they will be trained to become independent young entrepreneurs. With this program, it is hoped that indigenous Papuans (OAP) will have qualified and high-quality human resources.
On another occasion , the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy ( Parekraf ), Sandiaga Uno also gave his very high appreciation. According to him, the results of the construction of the PYCH building were extraordinary. Because it can be completed in a relatively short time, namely 450 days.
Not only that , but according to the Menparekraf , the PYCH building has its own characteristics , namely local wisdom and excellent quality, and helps improve the quality of human resources (HR) in the Land of Papua.
Furthermore, Sandi admitted that the existence of the PYCH building would greatly support the development of the creative economy in the community, because it helped many MSMEs grow and also develop, of course also thanks to the guidance from BIN.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Social Affairs ( Mensos RI), Tri Rismaharini , did not miss giving her high appreciation. He thanked President Jokowi for giving a beautiful work for children in the Land of Papua. According to him, now the youth in Papua clearly have a place to be creative.
Risma then hopes that the existence of the PYCH building will be able to bring the good name of Cenderawasih Earth to the international caste. So that it is not only the name Papua that is being developed, but also the name Indonesia on the world stage.
On the other hand, Papuan Youth Leader, Kevin Baldwin Aburyaan revealed that the PYCH building was successful and successful in collaborating and accelerating the economy in Papua. Not only that, but according to him the building initiated by the Head of BIN is able to open up opportunities for young entrepreneurs in Cenderawasih Earth.
Kevin explained, one of the results of this collaboration was the formation of farmer groups consisting of local farmers in the Papua region. These farmer groups are given training on effective and efficient farming techniques, as well as the use of technology that can facilitate them in developing their agricultural business.
It is clear that with the construction and inauguration of the PYCH building initiated by the Head of BIN, Gen. Pol ( Retired ) Budi Gunawan and receiving the full support of President Jokowi, Papua will soon be able to continue to grow and bring its good name to the world stage.
