Yogyakarta – Proliga 2023 results, Jakarta volleyball team BIN officially won the second round in the women’s sector, Sunday (19/2/2023).
The certainty that Jakarta BIN will win the second round of the Proliga 2023 was obtained after Jakarta Pertamina Fastron lost in two sets against Jakarta Elektrik PLN at the UNY Yogyakarta Sports Hall.
Jakarta BIN collected 11 points and has the right to top the final standings in the second round of the 2023 Proliga.
In a scenario, Pertamina Fastron can initially take over the first position in the women’s standings table, as long as it is able to defeat Jakarta Elektrik PLN with an absolute score of 3-0/3-1.
Later, Yolla Yuliana and colleagues will be able to close the second round of the regular round by collecting 12 points.
Considering that currently Jakarta Pertamina Fastron sits in second place with 9 points.
However, Ajeng Viona and colleagues failed to complete this absolute win requirement. The reason is that in the first two sets against Electric PLN, they lost 25-15 and 25-21.
In fact, if Pertamina Fastron is able to win a comeback (2-3) over the Jakarta Electric PLN team, then the second round title will still be in the hands of Jakarta BIN.
Jakarta BIN and Jakarta Pertamina Fastron both recorded 11 points. By regulation, the team that wins 3-2 gets two points, and the loser gets one.
Jakarta BIN has the right to win the second round by calculating the ratio of winning sets.
Referring to the standings on the official Proliga website, Jakarta BIN recorded 14 wins compared to Pertamina Fastron’s 11.
Even with the number of set defeats in the second round, Pertamina Fastron lost 9 times to 7 against Jakarta BIN.
