The Papuan Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST) has returned to action by shooting at the Trigana Air plane in Yahukimo. Even though there were no casualties, they were still guilty of committing the assault and endangering others. KST must be destroyed for the safety of the residents, both those who live in Yahukimo and in other areas in Papua.
On March 11, 2023, a Trigana air plane shot down at Dekai Airport, Yahukimo, Papua Mountains Province. The culprit is KST . This incident was surprising, after previously they burned the Susi Air plane and kidnapped the foreign pilot.
Head of Public Relations of the Papua Regional Police Kombes Benny Ady Prabowo stated that a Boeing IL 222 Series 300 aircraft with flight number PK-YSC was shot shortly after flying from Dekai Airport at around 14.06 WIT. His party received reports regarding the shooting down of the plane by KKB , which belongs to the terrorist group . However, the plane carrying 66 passengers still landed safely at Sentani Airport, Jayapura Regency.
Kombes Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo continued, the plane was fired on 4 times during landing and 5 times during take off. At around 13.35 Wit, via HT from Yahukimo Police Opsnal personnel, gunshots were heard 4 (four) times when the Trigana Air (Boing) type aircraft landed at Nop Goliath Dekai Airport originating from around the Brasa Dekai River.
The public criticized the shooting down of the Trigana Air plane because it was a plane carrying passengers, not a cargo/goods plane. There could have been injuries, even fatalities, due to gunshots from KST. They are very reckless because they shoot planes and endanger the lives of others.
Therefore the Papuan people themselves agree to eradicate KST. Because they are too outrageous. The passengers on board the Trigana Air plane are also Papuans. But KST casually shot the plane and showed that they had firearms.
Before the Trigana Air plane was shot, KST had burned the Susi Air plane and kidnapped the pilot. This airline finally temporarily stopped its business in the Papua region. I’m afraid that later Trigana Air will also do the same thing.
If two airlines decide to stop flying in Papua, it will be the people of Cendrawasih who will lose. They really need airplanes to be able to travel, because the geographical conditions there are hilly and mountainous and not all areas can be reached by road. If there is no choice of airline, how can they move?
When flights are disrupted, the distribution of goods is also disrupted because the pilots are afraid of being shot by KST, or even kidnapped like the Susi Air pilot. The Papuan people are suffering from difficulties in getting groceries and various other needs.
The community supports the eradication of KST and supports the TNI and Polri in hunting down the separatist group to its roots . The Papuan people are aware that the security forces have arrived to protect them, so that there will be no more shootings by planes or attacks on the people.
The Forum Community of Independent Social Media Activists (FPMSI) provides support to the TNI and Polri for fair law enforcement against KST. The goal is a peaceful and prosperous Papua, and when there is a KST it is impossible for there to be peace. This declaration was attended by netizens, especially millennials, both in Papua and other regions.
FPMSI chairman Rusdil Fikri stated that the purpose of the virtual declaration was to invite the Papuan community and political figures to support law enforcement against KST. Apart from that, the participation and active role of netizens can also be carried out by uploading positive posts on social media.
The purpose of this upload is so that more and more people are aware that the government has so far given a lot for the development of Papua. The reason is because the KST has been spreading provocations and hoaxes, so they are afraid that the people will be influenced, then turn against the government. In fact, the government has made so many facilities for Papua.
With the participation and support of netizens throughout Indonesia, Papuans are optimistic that KST attacks will decrease. The reason is because KST does not have a place in the hearts of the people and Papuans themselves already know that this group is dangerous. They cannot attack the people, neither in the real world nor in cyberspace.
KST shot down a plane in the Dekai area, Yahukimo, Papua. There were no casualties in this incident. However, the community criticized them for always carrying out attacks and endangering indigenous Papuans. KST must be eradicated so that it does not cause chaos anymore and the residents of Cendrawasih Land fully support the TNI and Polri troops who are hunting for the separatist group.
