Super Priority Security for the Success of the 2023 ASEAN Summit

Labuan Bajo – NTT Regional Police Chief, Inspector General of Police. Johni Asadoma ensured that his party would provide super priority security for the successful holding of the 2023 ASEAN Summit. This was done to ensure the security of all heads of state and delegations participating in the 2023 ASEAN Summit. The Regional Police Chief also asked the public to actively participate in creating community security and order.

“Security must be a super priority, we ask all levels of society in West Manggarai Regency, especially Labuan Bajo, to play an active role in creating a safe and conducive situation ahead of the ASEAN Summit,” asked the NTT Regional Police Chief.

His party will also exert full force for the security and smooth running of the ASEAN Summit. According to him, it is very important for all parties to be able to jointly maintain the security and success of activities.

“Let’s make this activity a success together by maintaining security,” said Johni.

The Regional Police Chief came directly to observe the progress of infrastructure development projects in a number of locations which will later be visited by delegates to the ASEAN Summit. A number of points visited included the Komodo Airport VIP, Sudamala Hotel, Ayana Hotel, Meruorah Hotel and the Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) area, in Golo Mori Village.

According to him, all the activities that have been carried out, including the seriousness in preparing security are a form of Polri’s enthusiasm to support and welcome ASEAN Indonesia’s chairmanship.

“This is proof and enthusiasm for the National Police in supporting and welcoming the ASEAN Summit later,” said Inspector General Johni.

Meanwhile, Korlantas Polri, Inspector General Pol Firman Shantyabudi said that his party would focus on several routes, routes and accommodations for VVIP guests who would be heading to the venue.

Firman is determined to ensure that there are absolutely no technical problems on the D-day of the ASEAN Summit.

“We want to make sure on the D-day, which way do we need to follow technically,” he said.
