The public is asked not to worry about the issue of vaccine scarcity . The government ensures that vaccine supplies will continue to come and be distributed to various regions in Indonesia.

The national vaccination program is a way to save many lives during a pandemic, because if it is injected, the body will have good immunity and fight the Covid-19 virus. Moreover, vaccination is 100% free so that it attracts many people and they are willing to queue for a long time to get their turn to be injected. They also have no problem with being given the Sinovac or AstraZaneca vaccine because they are both good.

However, recently rumors have emerged that the supply of vaccines in Indonesia has almost run out and there are areas that lack vaccines. People immediately panicked because there were those who had not received the injection, either the first or the second. In the end what happened was the government again being blamed by many.

We shouldn’t panic because it’s just a hoax. Siti Nadia Tarmizi, Spokesperson for Vaccination at the Ministry of Health, stated that there is no shortage of vaccines in any area, but vaccines will come in stages until December. In a sense, it is not true that in some areas there is a shortage of vaccine stocks, and people are expected to be patient.

Siti continued, as of July 30, 2021, the government has a stockpile of 144 million vaccines. So the government is fighting for the vaccine stock to come again until December 2021. Moreover, what will be ordered is also the Moderna vaccine, which must be stored at a temperature of minus 20 degrees Celsius, so that the storage space and refrigerator must be specially prepared.

Of course, the number of 144 million vaccines is not fully covered because the total population of Indonesia is 220 million, and each requires 2 injections. However, we must be optimistic because the government will definitely fight to increase the stock. Among them by not only relying on vaccines from 1 manufacturer (Sinovac) but there are also Moderna, Pfizer, Sinopharm, and AstraZaneca.

The public is asked to be patient to wait for the vaccine to arrive because if there is stock in Jakarta, it will be sent in stages to all cities/districts in Java and other islands. Especially if the distance is quite far, such as NTT or Papua. Of course it will take quite a long time for the vaccine to be delivered, so the people there are expected to continue to wait patiently.

Moreover, the distance between injections can be 1 month, so if you have been injected with the vaccine in the first period and the following week you haven’t received another call from the Puskesmas for the second injection, don’t be confused. Be patient and wait for SMS/WA, there will definitely be a turn for you and get another injection so that your immune system will increase.

Don’t even get angry and blame the government, even accusing a conspiracy behind the vaccination. Vaccine supplies will continue to be added, not limited because of certain interests. Vaccines will still be free and the rumor that vaccines are limited because they have to pay for it is not true.

We must wait for our turn to vaccinate while still complying with health protocols. Don’t forget to wear a mask, wash your hands and carry hand sanitizer in your bag, keep your distance, stay away from crowds, and obey other points in the protocol. Vaccination is guaranteed by the government, so don’t worry.

The corona vaccine will come in stages until December 2021. People are asked to be patient waiting for their turn to be injected. Don’t be easily fooled by the hoax that says that the national vaccination program is like this and that, because that’s just an issue thrown up by provocateurs.
