In the democracy party that will be held this year, the large number of sympathizers and supporters of a paslon is the goal of the entire winning team to win the candidate pair it promotes in the elections. While there are many ways to go, a number of ways to “cheat” are still an option for a handful of groups because they can instantly win over the electorate without taking too long. One is what is known as dawn attack.
The term “dawn raid” is inherent in every election, whether it’s the president, governor, mayor or regent. This strong action with money politics becomes the ultimate weapon of potential leaders to win the popular vote. The dawn raid is basically a covert campaign conducted by a successful team or a candidate for the people’s representatives by distributing the various needs of the voters, usually in the form of money or staples. It is not uncommon for the dawn raid to be the last weapon for candidate pair to win the voice of the community at the last moment before voting /
As the ultimate weapon, this is usually done in the last days before the election. This is because the dawn attack provides a shock effect that is believed to attract public sympathy just before the voting is done. In addition, the dawn raid also minimized the possibility that the recipient community of dawn attacks forgot that a candidate pair ever provided assistance.
However, the people are certainly not stupid. Indonesian people are very intelligent and able to be smart voters who cannot be bought voice only through dawn attack. With the advancement of the times and technology, the people of Indonesia are able to develop so as to provide the right of voice in accordance with the wishes, without any encouragement from any party.
