22 thousand TNI-Polri Personnel are ready to secure 2018 IMF-World Bank in Bali
Indonesia hosts the International Monetary Fund-World Bank Groups (AM IMF-WBG) Annual Meeting held in Bali, 8-14 October 2018.
The TNI ensured safeguarding the 2018 IMF-World Bank held in Bali in October. As many as 22 thousand personnel were alerted.
TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto said a total of 22 thousand for security in Bali. This security scheme according to Hadi was discussed with National Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian.
Hadi revealed, coincidentally yesterday afternoon he had held a meeting with the National Police Chief, then in Bali alone an ad hoc organization was formed which we called the security task command held by the TNI Chief of Staff.
He added, so that the task of security there will be held by one commander, we call it the Pangkogasgab Pam, in charge of the National Police and the TNI. In addition to security, a rescue simulation is also prepared in the event of a natural disaster.
Hadi said, everything had been simulated if an eruption, a tsunami occurred, the earthquake had all been simulated. If the tsunami is the only way by ship then by helicopter, where we collect the nearest base for the delegation we have simulated it.
The IMF WB 2018 program is an annual meeting organized by the Board of Governors of the IMF and the World Bank so that we as host must contribute to the success of the event, especially the Balinese because the success of the event is inseparable from the role of the Indonesian people and the government who play an active role in caring for success the event.
