FPI has been disbanded since the end of 2020. The disbandment of FPI is very reasonable because this mass organization has always troubled the public. Many people even cheered happily when the government acted decisively by dissolving FPI, because they were already embarrassed by the behavior of the members of the mass organization.

The disbandment of FPI seemed to be a gift to close 2020. This mass organization was declared banned based on the Decree of 6 Ministers and the head of the institution. Many expressed their gratitude when this mass organization was frozen, because so far they have hurt many people. By carrying out extreme actions such as sweeping , threats of raids, etc.

Actually, according to law, FPI has automatically dissolved because since 2019 the permit has not been extended by the Ministry of Home Affairs . According to Benny Irwan, Head of the Ministry of Home Affairs Information Center, FPI is having a hard time arranging an extension. However, permission was not granted because there were less requirements. In that sense, since 2019 FPI has the status of an illegal mass organization.

When FPI is dissolved, automatically all attributes ranging from posters to mass organization shirts are also prohibited. So, it is hoped that former FPI members will understand and no longer wear these attributes. If they persist, the apparatus will be recruited to reprimand. This is not an arrogance, but an act to put society in order.

Although former FPI members have protested, the government doesn’t care. This mass organization remains disbanded because it has caused too much rioting in Indonesia. First, they always do sweeping, especially during the fasting month . Food stalls that were open at noon were immediately raided, even ransacked. In fact, visitors may not fast because of different beliefs.

Imagine if FPI is not dissolved, then Ramadan in 2021 will be swept over . Even though opening a shop during the day of the fasting month is fine, as long as it is partially closed on the front as a form of ethics. It could be that those who are not obliged to fast, such as women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who are menstruating, come to that place to look for food.

Second, FPI members often provoke and hate speech during their lectures or at other events. The provocation they did was suspected to have led to actions to oppose the government. So it is natural to disband, because they influence other people to disobey the regulations in Indonesia.

The provocation they did was because they wanted to change Pancasila as the basis of the state and make Indonesia a khilafiyah country. In fact, the state of this country, which has a pluralistic and multi-religious society, is incompatible with such a concept. It is very dangerous when someone is affected by the provocation and then joins forces to oppose the authorities.

Meanwhile, the third is that many FPI members have been affected by terrorism cases. This is evident from the confession of those arrested, which reveals the fact that they were betrayed by ISIS. So it is very dangerous if left alone. Do we want Indonesia to be controlled by terrorists? Things will be chaotic because of them.

Therefore, when FPI was disbanded, the community was actually happy. Nobody regretted it when this mass organization was declared banned. Indonesia can be more conducive without FPI, because these mass organizations are breaking peace in society.

We don’t need mass organizations that destroy peace and divide unity. Un tuk rise of pressure when the pandemic, what is needed is solidarity, not division. Therefore, it is very natural when there are mass organizations that like to destroy society to be dissolved by the government.

The disbandment of FPI is good news and is welcomed by the public. They are tired of facing the disturbing behavior of FPI members, by carrying out acts of anarchy, sweeping , and provocation. When FPI disbanded, the attributes were automatically prohibited from being used, and the former members of this mass organization were expected to understand it.
