Habib Rizieq’s lecture was very controversial because it was full of harsh diction. The community deeply regrets it because it is inappropriate for a religious leader to say badly. Moreover, he was lecturing in the crowd, the more difficult step t im task force covid-19 in combating the corona .
Habib Rizieq Shihab immediately became excited about lecturing when he returned to Indonesia. But unfortunately during the event, what was said was insults. According to them, as religious leaders should not say that bad word. Jazuli Fawaid, Deputy Chairman of the MPR, regretted Habib Rizieq ‘s very rude lecture . According to him, insults should not be met with insults. Because we have to imitate the morals of the Prophet Muhammad who never responded to bad words from enemies. We shouldn’t despise each other, because we have to return to good morals.
There used to be a story when the Prophet Muhammad was cursed at by a man who was blind but did not reply, but instead he fed him every day. once the Prophet was gone, the blind man found out who had fed him. Supposedly as a descendant of the Prophet, Habib Rizieq menru this noble deed. Instead of scolding at will.
Has he forgotten one of the hadiths that says ‘be good or true’? As a pious person, he should understand about it, but not practice it . It’s a shame, because don’t just memorize but don’t do it in the field.
Habib Rizieq ‘s provocative lecture certainly unsettled the public and disturbed peace in Indonesia. Also has the potential to destroy harmony between religious communities in Indonesia. However, his persistence made Habib Rizieq increasingly shunned by the people, because they were very disappointed to see his unchanging behavior.
Just stop Habib Rizieq’s lecture right now because it divides national unity and touches on harmony between religious communities. A religious leader should not even speak harshly in public. His lecture also has the potential to create a new and worrying corona cluster during a pandemic.
