Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – Central Kalimantan has a large district. It has also mining potency enough well.
Mining potency consists of: Coal, Iron ore, bauxite, Primer gold and secondary, Zircon, Zinc, Copper, Granit, Limestone, Andesite till Black Tin.
Chief of Investment and Regional Legalization Board (BPMPD) Central Kalimantan Tengah Province, like quote in Antara News Kalteng, Tuesday (2/6/2015), Ingkal Jaya said that mining potency of Central Kalimantan spread in regency of Central Kalimantan, that is Murung Raya district, Barito Timur, Barito Utara, Barito Selatan, Kapuas, Gunung Mas, Katingan, Seruyan, Kotawaringin Timur, Kotawaringin Barat dan Palangka Raya city.
Ingkal Jaya said that Coal potency in Central Kalimantan has 3,648 Billion Ton. Iron Ore has potency 370,447 Million Ton and spread in Barito Selatan, Barito Timur, Gunung Mas, Katingan, Kotawaringin Timur, Seruyan, Kotawaringin Barat, Lamandau and Sukamara.
Ingkal added that potency of Primer Gold has about 2,621 Million Ton with average grade 2.76 gr/ton and Secondary Gold reach 207,348 Million Meter cubic with average grade 160 mg, both of them locate in the regency of Murung Raya, Kapuas, Gunung Mas, Katingan and Kotawaringin Timur.
“Bauxite has 8,682 Million Ton and only locate in Kotawaringin Timur and Sukamara,” said Him.
Chopper potency has 6.251 Million Ton and Zinc has 285, 65 Ton. They Locate in Murung Raya, Kapuas, Gunung Mas, and Katingan. Black chopper potency has 260, 15 Ton, and it locate in Gunung Mas, Lamandau and Seruyan.
Chief of BPMPD Central Kalimantan added about Granit has 14,041 Billion Ton and spread in Palangka Raya, Katingan, Kotawaringin Timur, Gunang Mas, Murung Raya, Kapuas and Lamandau.
“Limestone potency has 6,759 Billion Ton and locates in Barito Utara, Barito Selatan, Barito Timur, Murung Raya and Kapuas. And Zircon potency has 207,349 Ton,” said Ingkal.
Andesit potency has about 8936 Billion Ton and locates in Katingan, Kotawaringin Timur, Gunung Mas, Murung raya, Barito Timur and Seruyan.
