Pertamina Distributes 3.4 billion Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to Generate Energy in Papua
Cidiss. PT Pertamina (Persero) held a people’s party in Papua Province, Enlivening the 73rd Anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence and the 2018 Asian Games. On this occasion PT Pertamina (Persero) distributed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance in Papua amounting to Rp 3.4 billion. In addition to the attention to the welfare of the community, the People’s Party event was held precisely at the Football Field, Navy Navy Base, Jayapura, Papua, Saturday (25/8).
The People’s Party Exhibition was attended by BUMN Minister Rini Soemarno and Acting Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati and enlivened with various activities. Starting from Healthy Walk, Free Foot 5 Culinary, Folk Game Competition, Coloring Contest, Pertamina Fostered UKM Exhibition, Cheap Food Packages, Free Health Examination (Pertamina Sehati), Watching Together (Nobar) Children’s Films and Independence Rice Cooking Competition with Bright Gas.
Adiatma Sardjito As Vice President of Corporate Communication, this event is held every year to spread the spirit of hard work and achievement of the nation in celebrating the 73rd Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia and 2018 Asian Games, “Pertamina grows and is present with the people, because this People’s Party is part of building the spirit of togetherness, pumping up the energy of Independence and the 2018 Asian Games, merged into one in the People’s Party event, “Adiatma said.
Meanwhile, the election of Jayapura, Papua as a place for the People’s Party, continued Adiatma, was a manifestation of Pertamina’s commitment to advancing the eastern part of Indonesia.
Pertamina provides CSR assistance to the land of Papua as a form of the Government’s commitment to develop the region evenly throughout the country. CSR assistance is among others allocated to the needs of MCK facilities in the border areas, renovation of classrooms and houses of worship in Timika, as well as the construction of posyandu. In addition, speed boat ambulance assistance for Asmat Regency, as well as support for Pertamina Sehati (Healthy Mother and Child Beloved) program
To give enthusiasm to the participants, the official provided door prizes in the form of motorbikes and bicycles for lucky healthy walkers, by exchanging door prize coupons on the main stage. To add to the splendor of the party the people were also entertained by a Papuan singer, Ochy Marisa.
