Head of Bank Indonesia regional representative in Southeast Sulawesi, Dian Nugraha, asking the public for reasonable expenditures as needed ahead in holy month of Ramadan, as an attempt to curb inflation which certainly will be quite high later.
Dian said, BI and Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government also continues its efforts to control inflation in Sultra through the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID). With the TPID this, Dian said, controlling inflation is expected to be easily coordinated and synergized, mainly related to the smooth production and strategic distribution of foodstuffs.
Until now in Sultra already contained 1 TPID at the provincial level and 11 TPID at the district / city. Meanwhile, Head of Domestic Trade Department of Industry and Trade Sultra Muhammad Ali said that until now the stock of basic needs of society is still safe. There has been no significant price increases in some markets. There are some commodities that have increased such as rice and eggs, but the increase is deemed to be reasonable.
