Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – Air Condition due to severe smog in Central Kalimantan, making Thailand Government conduct the evacuation of all of their citizens who were enrolled study at the Muhammadiyah University of Palangkaraya.
Such as quote in Antara kalteng, Monday (26/10/2015), Rector of University of Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya, Bulkani, confirmed that it has evacuated 8 students the origin of Thailand.
“One day after receiving a request from the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta about evacuation, the next day the eighth student of UM Palangka Raya direct flight to Jakarta via flights from Banjarmasin,” he said.
The Royal Thai Embassy requested evacuation to the Embassy in Jakarta to the time which has not been determined, waiting Palangka Raya conditions completely free of smog due to land and forest burning.
The Rector Palangkaraya Muhammadiyah University has also been inviting the entire Dean to give special permission for the eighth student of origin Thailand for not following lecture activity by reason of national disaster emergency smog. (*)
