Nuclear Weapons, the Biological Weapons, the Chemical Weapons and Explosives are various examples of weapons of mass destruction is echoed by the international community, and the term is commonly heard in the military all over the world. Weapons of mass destruction are usually used in warfare between groups and even between countries, because in a sense, weapons of mass destruction is a weapon designed to kill humans on a large scale, usually targeting the general public or the military.
But did we ever think that weapons of mass destruction is only used by the military? This greatly restricts our minds about weapons of mass destruction. In this world, there are lots of weapons of mass destruction that circulate freely in the general public, but it is not recognized by us, because we are just stunned that weapons of mass destruction used to kill humans in large quantities to the time immediately. Weapons of mass destruction are actually the drug or in Indonesia known as the drug (Psychotropic Drugs and Addictive Substances), which is able to kill many people in a relatively short time scale, though not as fast as other weapons of mass destruction.
History has recorded that the drugs can also be used as a weapon of war, as in the Opium War of 1839-1842 and 1856-1860 as the climax of a trade dispute between China and the United Kingdom. Currently the drug is not used as a tool of war again, but let’s see from the above-mentioned data BNN in December 2015 which says that drug users in Indonesia as many as 5.9 million people, jumped out of the data in November as many as 4.2 million people and to date in Indonesia, 50 people died in one day because of drug cases, while losses were obtained by the state reached 63.1 trillion, the most concern is making 70% of drug users are people aged school or juvenile. Imagine if one day the death of 50 people, in a month 1,500 people, 18,000 people in a year, how many people have to die from taking drugs in 10 years or more, which is why the drug is referred to as the real weapons of mass destruction.
Until now, most of the drug users due to the influence of the environment or association, therefore, we must pay attention to the environment and socially to avoid the danger of drugs. In addition, we must to keep our environment so that no victim of weapons of mass destruction were named drugs.
