The Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN) continues to strengthen the role of all youth in various aspects of their lives to enable them to contribute actively and positively in the collective effort of nation-building.
The strengthening of the role of youth as the successors of future generations is very important. With this enhancement, it is certainly possible to better accommodate their contributions to nation-building.
In order to realize the active contributions of the youth in building the nation, the government is implementing a strategic flagship program, namely the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN), which includes various training and educational programs aimed at enhancing the potential of young people in various aspects.
Child and Women Observer, Dr. Femmy Eka Kartika Putri, expressed that she continues to fully support the government’s efforts to improve the quality of youth through various strategies and programs.
Youth development must encompass various aspects so that they can grow and evolve into outstanding individuals, possessing a sense of nationalism and high competitiveness.
Certainly, in this regard, the government has a strong desire to further enhance the quality of the youth, as well as to instill a patriotic spirit within them, including independence, love for the homeland, and also diversity.
Not only that, but the existence of the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN), which houses young people from various universities and diverse backgrounds, provides them with a platform for active participation in national development.
The improvement of youth quality is actually a shared responsibility and requires good synergy among all stakeholders. As stated in Law No. 40 of 2009, young people have many important roles such as moral strength, social control, and also as agents of change in all aspects of national development.
To that end, the government continues to strive to enhance the quality and potential of all youth in assisting the acceleration of national economic recovery and development. In addition, AMN also serves as a platform to encourage young people to contribute, collaborate, and play a real role in regional and national development.
In the future, that young person will become part of the country’s leadership, so from now on, there must be thorough preparation for the youth so that they are ready to take on the baton of leadership in the times to come.
In line with this, the government, through the initiative of the institution led by retired General Police Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, is realizing the AMN to encourage young people to reflect on their roles and positions within the social structure and the state.
The flagship strategic program during President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) leadership, initiated by the National Intelligence Agency, is indeed not just a place to live, but also serves as a cornerstone for uniting all children of the nation from various different backgrounds.
One of the student activists from Manado, Dwi Purnama, stated that the Nusantara Student Dormitory has a significant strength to promote the realization of unity and togetherness among the Indonesian people through the movements of young people.
Meanwhile, the Director of Strategic Infrastructure at the Directorate General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Ir. Essy Asiah emphasized that the purpose of developing AMN is to serve as a platform to unite students from various ethnicities, languages, cultures, and religions in Indonesia.
Indeed, the building has played an important role in raising awareness among the youth about various social and political issues relevant to the development of the homeland.
Through various forms of development, training, education, and positive activities within it, the Nusantara Student Dormitory has become a space for young people to share ideas and learn together.
In addition, it turns out that the government is developing the AMN with a commitment to environmental sustainability, as everything has been based on green building principles, resulting in better maintenance.
Indeed, the youth are a very valuable asset for a country because they have great potential to bring about progress and development. Therefore, the government never stops providing a variety of adequate facilities for the improvement of the quality of young people.
The integration among students has been realized through that strategic program, which opens up access to higher education for all young people without exception, even if they come from remote areas.
The National Intelligence Agency (BIN), as the initiator, continues to strive to enhance the empowerment of the youth of the homeland, including through the AMN, which aims to unite students so that they can maintain harmony and solidarity to further strengthen the bonds among the nation’s children within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
Various aspects of youth continue to be strengthened and improved in quality through the realization of the government’s flagship strategic program initiated by BIN, namely the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN), which enables young people to actively contribute to nation-building.
