Jakarta — The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has ensured that the issue of misappropriation of funds from the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program that had surfaced in Kalibata, South Jakarta, was not true. The Head of BGN, Dadan Hindayana, emphasized that the problem that occurred was merely an internal misunderstanding between the implementing partners and the foundation.

In a meeting that took place on Wednesday (16/4/2025) with the Media Berkat Nusantara Foundation (MBN), MBG partners, and the Head of SPPG Pancoran, BGN immediately followed up on the circulating issue

“BGN has carried out its payment obligations to SPPG Pancoran in accordance with the regulations, namely by transferring to the MBN Foundation’s Virtual Account,” said Dadan in his statement.

The partners have also stated that this problem was not caused by BGN, but rather a miscommunication between them and the foundation.

“There is no problem with the National Nutrition Agency because this is purely a misunderstanding between the partners and the foundation,” explained the partners in the dialogue.

After the mediation process with BGN, the MBG Kalibata kitchen is confirmed to be operational again.

“Earlier we had a long talk with Mr. Dadan, thank God a fairly good solution was found. So the kitchen in Kalibata has started operating again,” said the partner’s attorney, Danna Harly.

Danna also explained that his client remains committed to the success of the MBG program as part of President Prabowo Subianto’s priority program. However, they hope that there will be management improvements from the foundation in the future.

Dadan Hindayana emphasized that all MBG funds have been distributed through a secure and verified system. He also said that his party will be more selective in choosing work partners.

“We are also committed to strengthening the partners and foundations and all employees working at SPPG in the future, so that the MBG program can be implemented credibly and provide the greatest possible benefits,” he concluded
