Choirul Fuadi, Central Kalimantan, CIDISS – Explore Exotica of Borneo Central Kalimantan (Kalteng) has been held for 2 days starting 21 to 22 November 2015 set in TMII Jakarta. The Activities were regional art performances, exhibitions of handicrafts, culinary, and also fashion show.

The purpose of the activities Explore Exotica of Borneo Kalteng is an event promotion of tourism together with 14 regencies and city in the province of Central Kalimantan, and hopes of increasing the number of tourists to visit Kalteng. It also as implementation of appreciation of art works of music, dance, theatre or drama, and others those are in Central Kalimantan. And then expected sustainable fixed and loved by young generation and society Kalteng in Jakarta and endeared tourists

Hundreds of people wearing batik Benang Bintik (Ethnic of Kalteng) crowded the Anjungan Kalteng in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). In the Anjungan provided a stage decorated beautifully and furnished a number of traditional musical instruments of Central Kalimantan. Then, the sound of traditional music Kalteng played music and the dancers who wear distinctive graceful Clothes of Dayak Kalteng dance in the stage.

The event also was attended by Director General of culture of the Ministry of education and culture, Deputy Tourism Marketing development of the archipelago, the Tourism Ministry and Director of the durability of the economic, social, and culture of the Ministry of the Interior,and Director of TMII. secretarial of Kalteng Province, Regent and Vice-regent Barsel, Vice Regent Pulang Pisau, the acting Regent Kotim, Sekdaprov III Assistant of Kalteng, Head of Department culture, and tourism along the range, Kadis of forestry and industry and trade, the chief of economy and Natural resources Kalteng , Karo public relations and Protocol, the head of the UPT Anjungan Kalteng TMII, and other related officials.

The Acting Governor Kalteng, Hadi Prabowo through Secretarial regional of Central Kalimantan Province, Siun Jarias on Explore the Exotica of the Borneo Kalteng said, the potential for tourism in Kalteng is very much to be built and developed in a professional manner, both for natural tourist attraction, attraction of Culture/Customs/cultural heritage, and the attraction of particular interest.
