Conservation to scarce and protected animal keep doing by government. One of them is conservation to Orang Utan. The Pulang Pisau government supports the orang utan conservation in his region. The conservation is on Salat Island.
Thursday, (3/11/2016), government of Pulang pisau did release of 12 orang utans in Salat island, Pulang Pisau regency, Central Kalimantan province.
On that opportunity, government of Pulang Pisau trough Assistant II, regional secretary, Tiswanda said that his party efforts and support BOS and SSMS Corp. in the management and consider to orang utan conservation.
“We support to activity (orang utan conservation) in Salat island,” said tiswanda.
The implementation of Salat Island as orang utan conservation is collaboration of many parties, such government of Central Kalimantan, Pulang Pisau government, nature conservation agency central Kalimantan, and people in Jabiren raya district. The parties gather together in orang utan conservation. He also gives appreciation toward BOS and PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana CBI Group in the orang utan conservancy.
Head of Pilang village, Leson T Idar said that people of Pilang mostly support and hope the conservation area will run well in the next day.
In the releasing orang utan to forest in Salat Island, it is attended by Governor of Central Kalimantan Sugianto Sabran, Marzuki Usman represent for advisor and commissaries of PT SSMS who also ex of forest ministry and plantation Indonesian republic and people.
