CIDISS – facing the free market or often known as the MEA (Asean economic community), the community was supposed to equip themselves with knowledge and skills.

The Government’s are seriousness in preparing citizens.

In addition, the development of small and medium industrial sector also needs serious attention of the Government. Then the potential of local culture need to be developed by both Government and private.

One of them is in the Regency Kapuas, Department of industry, trade and cooperatives (Disperindagkop) Regency Kapuas continues to encourage people to develop handicrafts and small industries to support the advancement of the economy of the region.

Terrace D Suhin, head of Disperindagkop Kapuas, invites the entire community to develop the potential of the region.

“If we see the condition of our nation’s economy is not yet stable, then it is seen necessary seriousness of Government and private sector to increase the seriousness in dealing with the challenges being faced. To always develop the industry as a potential area of rattan handicraft and cultural heritage which must be developed, “he said.

In line with the program in Kapuas District increase scholarship and technology (Science and Technology) production system, it is necessary the seriousness of the challenges. One of these small industries sector needs to be improved.

“Small Industry is promising that one craft rattan craft which is hereditary and cultural heritage that must be maintained and preserved,” he said.
