Indoesia Armed Forces (TNI) has prepared 2000 its best soldiers for securing the arrival of Vice President Jusuf Kalla in the framework of the meeting with all Governors across Indonesia. It’s stated by Major General Wiyarto, the Operational Commander for the visiting.
According to Wiyarto, the 2000 soldiers will consist of Army, Navy, Marine and Air Force. That amount is still being added by police officers later. “We’ve got 2,000 soldiers combining Army, Navy and Air Force. Not including the police and will be adjusted with the team of Vice President’s Secretary Protocol,”
In the different place, Head of Ambon Island District Commands, AKBP Komarus Zaman said that all his soldiers are ready and well prepared for February 26th 2015. All the Police personnel will be spread later in some spots, such as: Pattimura Airport, Hotel Natsepa and Governor’s Official Residence, including pathways that will be passed entourage. The (police) personnel will be consisting of the personnel from Mobile Brigade, Sabhara, Riot Police, and territorial Police Command in Ambon.
The meeting itself has been arranged and all the 34 governors also have declared their readiness for joining the event. Hamid Bin Tahir, one of the committee also stated that not all governors will be attending the event with their deputy governors. But the number of the guests in the committee’s list reaches 175 participants.
“Originally planned, the meeting will be opened Vice Wednesday (25/2) night but apparently the new vice president will arrive in Ambon on Thursday (26/2), so that the opening will be held in the governorate Mangga Dua in the evening,” he said.
Previously reported, the whole preparation for the implementation of the meeting has been prepared by the Maluku Provincial Government, including the entire accommodation for the participants.
The Governors will occupy The Natsepa Hotel, while the minister and the chairman will stay at The Swiss-Belhotel. Mr. Vice President himself will be resting at the residene of the Maluku Governor in Mangga Dua Area.
