DPD KNPI and GAMKI Agree to Support ASEAN Summit 2023 in Labuan Bajo
West Manggarai – Various elements of the people of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) agreed to support and succeed the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo.
Chairman of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) Kab. West Manggarai, Sergius Try Dedi said that his party was ready to support the holding of the ASEAN Summit.
“We are ready to support the holding of the ASEAN Summit which will be held in West Manggarai Regency,” said Sergius.
Furthermore, Sergius said that the DPD KNPI hoped that the ASEAN Summit activities would involve community participation. He also stated that he was ready to maintain and guarantee security stability during the 2023 ASEAN Summit.
“The DPD KNPI as the host, in this case as youth, is ready to maintain and guarantee security stability in West Manggarai Regency when the ASEAN Summit is held in Labuan Bajo,” he said.
In line with Sergius, Secretary of the West Manggarai KNPI, Tarsisius Derson Wesa also said he was ready to make the ASEAN Summit successful.
“Ready to succeed the ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo. And it is certain that we will maintain stability during the ASEAN Summit,” said Tarsisius.
Not only the KNPI, the DPD Indonesian Christian Youth Movement (GAMKI) in NTT also invited all residents of the NTT Province to fully support the ASEAN Summit.
“Labuan Bajo City is hosting the 2023 ASEAN Summit. Let us fully support the implementation of the 2023 ASEAN Summit activities which are attended by heads of state from various countries,” said the Chairman of the DPD GAMKI NTT, Gadi Buli.
Gadi Buli said GAMKI fully supports this international-level event and hopes to have a positive impact on the people of NTT.
“GAMKI also hopes that all the people of NTT will pray for and support the successful implementation of the 2023 ASEAN Summit which will be attended by thousands of participants from various countries,” he said.
