Jakarta – The government through the Fast Best Results Program has reaffirmed its commitment to improving the quality of national education. One of the main targets in this program is improving educational facilities, which are considered an important foundation in creating a superior and competitive generation.
President Prabowo Subianto said that education is the cornerstone of a country’s success and prosperity.
“It is impossible for us to become a prosperous country, it is impossible for us to become a developed country if our education is not good, our education is not successful,” said President Prabowo.
The Fast Best Results Program is the government’s commitment to showing its seriousness in placing education as a top priority policy.
“Compared to other countries, our country places education at the top of the APBN, education is the most important. If I’m not mistaken, the current APBN is the highest, above 22%. If we compare it with other countries, India’s number 1 is defense,” said the President.
Meanwhile, the Main Expert of the Presidential Communications Office, Hariqo Wibawa Satria said that the government is accelerating the improvement of the quality of education through President Prabowo Subianto’s Fast Best Results Program, one of which is the School Revitalization and Learning Digitalization Program.
“Currently, around 40 percent of the 439 thousand schools in Indonesia are damaged, ranging from light to heavy,” he said.
According to Hariqo, this condition is a major challenge in advancing national education because it is impossible to achieve ideals if the condition of school buildings endangers students.
“In about 20 years, our children will enter an average productive age of 27 years. They must have decent jobs, healthy bodies, and intelligent brains to be able to compete with any country,” said Hariqo.
Therefore, he said, education must liberate and make people happy and this is in line with President Prabowo Subianto’s promise as stated in Asta Cita.
Through the Fast Best Results Program, the government hopes that improving educational facilities will be a foothold to accelerate the equalization of national education quality and realize the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045.
