Yogyakarta – The BIN Jakarta Volleyball Team finally succeeded in defeating the Jakarta Pertamina Fastron volleyball team with a score of 2-3 (25-21, 20-25, 16-25, 25-20, 15-9). The 2023 Pro League results ensure that the BIN Jakarta Volleyball Team enters the Final Four and is a real proof of the success of the BIN Sports Association or PORBIN.
The third round of the Proliga 2023 match at the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Sports Hall, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Friday (17/2/2023). led to an exciting and tight match between the Jakarta BIN volleyball team and the Jakarta Pertamina Fastron volleyball team. The match was an event to prove the strength of the Jakarta BIN volleyball team which should be reckoned with in this year’s Proliga.
With the victory in this match, Jakarta BIN has established itself towards the Final Four and is in third place with 18 points.
Jakarta BIN led from the first set of the match with a score of 25-21. There is no doubt that Peiyan Chen, a player from China, has managed to dominate the game so that Jakarta Pertamina Fastron has nothing to do with it.
Even though in the second and third sets the Jakarta BIN volleyball team was unable to stem the points from the Jakarta Pertamina Fastron volleyball team, the situation reversed again. The Jakarta BIN team was finally able to rise in the fourth and fifth sets, they regained control of the game over Jakarta Pertamina Fastron with a score of 25-20, 15-9. With that, the Jakarta BIN volleyball team is sure to be ready to win in the Final Four.
Jakarta BIN coach, Octavian, said that today’s match was seen for the Final Four which aims to find a competitive mentality for his team. Even though mistakes occurred in several sets which resulted in defeats, Octavian is optimistic that the Jakarta BIN volleyball team can win the Final Four later and make new history in the Proliga.
“We’ll see for the Final Four, we also have a lot of rotations. Alhamdulillah, the rotation was running even though there are obstacles, hopefully this match will give us confidence to face the Final Four,” said Octavian, Friday (17/2/2023).
Meanwhile, the victory of the Jakarta BIN Volleyball Team over Jakarta Pertamina Fastron proved the success of PORBIN for Developing Outstanding Volleyball Athletes. This is in line with the formation of the BIN Jakarta Women’s volleyball team for the first time on November 4, 2022.
Chairman of the Sports Union (PORBIN) Komjen Bambang Sunarwibowo as) explained the formation of the BIN Volleyball Team was a direct instruction from the Head of BIN Gen. Pol (P) Budi Gunawan which was in accordance with the Government’s program.
He also added that coaching and mentoring athletes is important so that athletes can focus more on achieving achievements.
“The success of an athlete is not only obtained from talent, but also good coaching and management of athletes,” said Bambang Sunarwibowo when launching the Jakarta BIN volleyball team some time ago.
