Economic Growth in Central Kalimantan Province 2016 is 6.36 percent

CIDISS, Central Kalimantan – Statistical Central Board record the economic growth in Central Kalimantan province 2016 is 6.36 %, with Gross regional product value reach IDR 112.441,2 billion. The highest economic growth in transportation category and warehouse reach 10,62 %, and electric and gas reach 10,34%.

The data is stated by Head of Statistical Central Board Central Kalimantan, Hanif Yahya in Antaranewskalteng. Hanif said that main sources of economic growth in Central Kalimantan 2016 Triwulan (per three months) IV are agriculture, forestry and fishery, mining and digging, industry and others industry.

“Economic structure Central Kalimantan on Triwulan IV 2016 is dominated by main category; agriculture, forestry and fishery 20,89 %, industry 16,70 %, trading and distributor also car and motorcycle reparation is 11,50 %,” said Hanif.

But, the economic growth in Central Kalimantan 2016 has slow than previous year. In 2015, economic growth in Central Kalimantan is higher 7,01 % than 2016 is only 6,36 %.

Even slow growing, economic growth in Central Kalimantan Triwulan IV 2016 reach 8.50. The highest economic growth is transportation and warehouse which is 17,49%, electric and gas 15,23 % and financial service 11,87%.

“Economic structure in Kalimantan 2016 is dominated by East Kalimantan which is 58,18%. Central Kalimantan has contribution only 10,85%,” said Hanif.
