At first humans exchanged information through language, by exchanging information directly through everyday conversation. However, along with the development of technology, information at this time, people inevitably have to follow its development and the rapid development of technology, information and communication. Advances in technology can have a negative or positive impact on human life. One negative impact of the rapid development of technology is that it makes it easier for the public to access a variety of information and news only in the hands. Lying news can spread easily and be able to get anyone who reads or hears to believe directly and the thing that can worsen this situation is that people are too lazy to find out about the truth but are very eager to share the rumor as widely as possible. This can threaten the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia, because it can break the unity and unity of Indonesia amid advances in communication technology.

Millennial generation, or generation Y (the theory of William Straus and Neil Howe), currently aged between 18-36 years, is a generation of productive age. The generation that will continue the struggle in maintaining the unity and integrity of Indonesia. Because of this the millennial generation is targeted as a target for introducing radicalism. Starting from a great curiosity that leads to errors in the search for references can plunge millennial generation in radical fanaticism.

Still fresh in memory, how the Indonesian democratic party in 2019 seemed to be an arena for throwing provocation, hate speech, and false news to both parties. Now that the democratic party is over, the Constitutional Court has set the results of the general election and both the elected and unelected candidate pairs have received the results of the Constitutional Court’s decision seen by the meeting of the two parties to hold reconciliation. This should be emulated by supporters of both parties. If the two prospective leaders who have been defended desperately by their supporters have reconciled, then it is also time for the supporters to make peace with one another. Do not let this difference in choice provide a loophole for radicalism to enter and attack into the body of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

Indonesia is a vast country, stretching from Aceh to Papua. So do not be surprised if Indonesia has diversity starting from religion, ethnicity and race. This diversity is also the reason for the change in the text of the Jakarta Charter which initially reads as follows “Godhead with the obligation to carry out Islamic law for its adherents”. To appreciate the existence of our other brothers who are in Eastern Indonesia where most are not Muslim, then the points in the Jakarta Charter were changed to “God Almighty” in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. This shows that the heroes have struggled effort to maintain the unity and integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia. They do not impose the will or interests of one particular group. This should be an example for us.

“My struggle is easier because it is against the invaders. But your struggle will be more difficult, because against your own brother, “that’s what Ir. Sukarno, the first president of the Republic of Indonesia. The words of Ir. Soekarno most likely was true. Maybe he has also seen signs of how we now have an unusual character. The years of struggle against the invaders were indeed over. The invaders were driven out of Indonesia. But our struggle is not really over. The unity and integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia must be maintained and maintained. Because if it is not managed there will be havoc and destruction and division everywhere. With the spirit of struggle inherited by the heroes, let the millennial generation fill Indonesia’s independence by maintaining the unity and integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia which can be done by strengthening our idealism, nationalism, and love for this country. And also let us not easily fall into false news and provocation that can divide the unity and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. Homeland PRICE DEAD!
