Plus there are systems of outsourcing (contract) which tend to be detrimental to the workforce. But with this system, workers only get relative wages so low they are.
Regent of Seruyan Regency , Central Kalimantan, Sudarsono, as quote in Antara Kalteng, Monday, (2/11/2015) warned companies operating on its territory that not allow to take termination steps of employment and also not applying the outsourcing system to workers.
“The termination of the working relationship (LAYOFFS) unilaterally by the company not to be happen, especially on plantation companies by the amount of big labour,” said him.
The Government of Seruyan Regency promised to control the protection of labour rights in its territory in accordance to rules. “I hope the labour protection in company can be implement accordance with the rules of employment,” he said.
In accordance with the rules, all labour is entitled to protection and a guarantee of safety in the workplace, as well as free from discrimination or the intervention of the company. (*)
