CIDISS – A hundred students journalist who member of journalist student of organization (LPM), from many province and campus of indonesia assemble on hall of kepuharjo village, karang ploso, malang,east java on thursday – saturday (17-19/4). They did kongres luar biasa (klb).
I wayan widyantara, coordinator of perhimpunan pers mahasiswa indonesia (ppmi) presidium, open officially this agenda of KLB.
In his speech, ex chief of PPMI Bali said that KLB was held because of massive of chief of PPMI National to run his duty. “It’s based on pekalongan declaration and to continue result meeting in Malang, then KLB was held,” said him.
New SekJend of PPMI
At the end of congres, indonesia student journalist organization (ppmi) have made a final decision to take a New general secretary of ppmi.
Abdus somas, student who from ahmad dahlan university (UAD),member of student journalist organization Poros, yogyakarta, was chosen acclamation by congress. It was because other candidate was resignation.
He was chosen to be new sekjend on sunday (19/4).
On the second day, congress have discussed about organization system in ppmi, such as erase ethical council became region coordinator (korwil).
Beside that, they were also take down dedy nur cahyo, previous sekjend which signed letter of consideration by member of ppmi in the last day.
Then, ppmi divided into 5 region coordinator through java, bali, Kalimantan, madura and sulawesi.
Then, they will discuss about action planning on national work meeting (muskernas) on makassar, south sulawesi next 4 months after Klb.
New sekjend got positive response and new spirit for progress of ppmi in the future. (Fu-Red)
