CIDISS-After patenting the nine motifs typical of the Lamandau, Lamandau Regency PKK Team is also working to train a number of its members to make batik with typical motifs that have been patented.

According to the wife of the Regent of the Lamandau, Lamandau typical motifs of batik has a value that is high enough and aligned with the previous quality batiks origin well developed. In addition it also has a good selling price because batik Lamandau using natural coloring.
In the meantime, also mentioned that of the nine motifs typical of the Lamandau has patented this, Kantung Semar motive is the oldest motive that has been created by members of the PKK Lamandau Regency.
“The motive of the Kantung Semar is launched first time on 10 October 2012, “said her.
Usually every there are new batik motifs will be launching direct to the general public. While the mascot and motifs that are always included in any fabric batik is Kantung Semar motif.
“In the future, the mascot and the batik motifs will we make batik with natural dyes, so the price will be more selling,” said Maria.
She said at the National Jamboree PKK 2015, batik Lamandau ever on printed in the activities of international scale. She also said that abroad designers invited her to make cooperation for a demonstration in Japan.
