The 2024 election campaign is about to begin. The people welcomed him happily and supported the party and presidential candidate they liked. However, the campaign must be carried out politely in order to realize peaceful elections. Elections must take place safely and peacefully, without any hoaxes, propaganda and  black campaigns.

General elections (elections) will be held in 2024 and the campaign period will soon begin. All pre-election processes must be prepared from now on so that later it will run well. Society plays a major role in creating peaceful elections and campaigning politely. Peace must be maintained so that elections can take place smoothly without any riots or even bloodshed.

The campaign process is the most thrilling period because there are some people who campaign to the extreme to vilify other presidential candidates. All Indonesian citizens are expected to campaign in a polite manner without anyone making negative comments or making hateful speeches.

The Regent of Dompu, H. Kader Jaelani, stated that peaceful elections were a joint celebration for all parties. Therefore, it is necessary to work together to work hard to realize peaceful elections, which will then have an impact on maintaining and maintaining regional conduct. The implementation of safe and peaceful elections is the shared hope of all parties, for this reason cooperation and togetherness from all regional elements is highly expected.

H. Kader Jaelani continued, holding the stages of the peaceful election campaign declaration will result in a conducive and smooth election administration, so that the various stages that must be carried out can run optimally. Election participants in election activities should be able to show their sportsmanship and the most important thing is to be polite in campaigning so that they can easily win public sympathy.

In a sense, the people of Dompu and all Indonesian citizens are expected to carry out campaigns in a polite manner in order to maintain peaceful elections. People must remember that elections and pre-elections are run peacefully. The community can play a major role in creating peaceful elections. Elections are an event to choose leaders and candidates for new legislation. Do not make it a place of war or fierce hostilities because you are too supportive of a particular political party or presidential candidate.

When campaigning, you must also be polite and not badmouth other parties or presidential candidates. Polite campaigns, for example by explaining the vision and mission of the supported presidential candidates. For example, he is a child lover and diligent in giving gifts to children who can answer questions. The candidate is also a graduate of a well-known campus and has a higher education.

Politeness campaigns can also be carried out  door to door  by visiting residents’ homes directly and asking what they need. Later the aspirations of the people will be conveyed directly to the presidential candidate and the problem will be resolved. The peaceful and polite campaign will make all Indonesian citizens comply with election rules and be enthusiastic towards presidential and party election day, in 2024.

People should not be tempted to carry out campaigns full of emotion because they harm themselves and harm others. If you look in the mirror from the 2014 and 2019 elections, hostilities took place in cyberspace and the situation was so heated that there were bad nicknames from each of the presidential candidate supporting camps at that time. Don’t let this happen again because people should be adults and leave hostilities. Elections must be fair (honest and fair) and uphold peace in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the campaign period is very prone to propaganda and black campaigns, which can tarnish the good name of a presidential candidate or politician. The public is asked to be aware of it so as not to get caught in a prolonged conflict.

Bawaslu chairman Rahmat Bagja stated that a task force working to oversee social media networks would be formed by the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu). The goal is to prevent fake news or hoaxes ahead of the upcoming 2024 elections.

Bagja continued, the main task of this task force is to suppress black campaigns in the 2024 general election. This task force can prosecute the perpetrators of this black campaign. Especially if the content that is spread leads to slander and hoax on social media.

In a sense, the government through Bawaslu is preventing the spread of content containing black campaigns, propaganda and hoaxes ahead of the 2024 election. Do not let the election turn into an arena for war and hate speech in cyberspace. For this reason, a task force was formed to warn the public to behave well on social media.

People are asked to maintain peace during campaigns and elections, and not to believe in black campaigns. Don’t believe in hoaxes, propaganda or black campaigns and don’t read the news with emotion. But check the truth first and don’t just share it on social media.

All Indonesian citizens are urged to realize peaceful elections without any violence and chaos, both in the real world and in cyberspace. The campaign must take place safely and peacefully. There should be no splits on social media because of hostility between camps supporting a presidential candidate or a particular party, during the campaign period.
