Jhonny Allen Marbun as the Initiator of the Extraordinary Democratic Party Congress in Sibolangit, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, has spoken about Moeldoko’s role as the Presidential Chief of Staff who is very dominant in the event.
Jhonny revealed that holding an event on behalf of the Democratic KLB is an internal problem in the Democrat party. He also emphasized that the outbreak has nothing to do with external factors. KLB is an accumulation of frustration and resentment by cadres against the wrong, undemocratic, collusive, and incorrect party management which is not in accordance with the ideals of the nation’s founders.
On the basis of that disappointment, KLB became an arena to consolidate the political power of cadres and those who wanted to improve the Democratic party.
Jhonny added, the KLB aims to dismiss and demise the old forces that made Democrats a family party and undemocratic.
He also said that it would be too much to say that the Democrat KLB happened because of the support of the Palace and Moeldoko. The existence of an KLB was actually held based on the commitment of cadres who wanted change and improvement within the Democratic Party.
His party also explained that Moeldoko was only a spark of these hopes. His achievements, figures and good personality made the majority of cadres fall in love with him.
So that it has nothing to do with the palace. Moeldoko’s election was because he was favored by cadres and was proposed to by the Democrats.
On different occasions the North Sumatra Regional Police (Polda) have stated that the police do not interfere with the internal affairs of the Democratic Party.
This was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, when he was confirmed regarding the Democrat Party Outbreak which was held in Deli Serdang.
Hadi said that the police were only obliged to maintain security so that the event could continue in a concussive manner .
When confirmed, Hadi also said that he did not interfere in the internal affairs of the Party, only to maintain security so that the event could run in a conducive manner.
He also explained that the police only took precise steps, so that there would be no conflicts that could disrupt security.
Hadi ensured that a number of personnel from the Medan Police and the North Sumatra Regional Police were on standby during the Democrat Outbreak which was held in Deli Serdang.
Regarding licensing , the Democrat KLB committee has also sent a notification letter to the North Sumatra Regional Police. However, the North Sumatra Regional Police did not issue a permit recommendation.
As the person in charge of security, the North Sumatra Regional Police anticipated it so that there would be no clash between the two parties , both those who were pro and those who rejected the outbreak.
The North Sumatra Regional Police have also invited both parties to maintain security and public order, so that security in the North Sumatra region is maintained.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyo no (AHY), stated that the event was fake. In line with AHY, Chairman of the High Council of the Democrat Party, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), condemned the KLB, which he called as being fake.
SBY stated that the KLB of the Democrat Party was fake and illegal, especially in the KLB that crowned KSP Moeldoko who was an active government official who was in the presidential institution, not a cadre of the democratic party, aka Moeldoko, who was an external party to the party who became Chairman of the Democratic Party.
On a different occasion , an academic at the University of Indonesia (UI) Ade Armando considered that President Jokowi was not involved in anything or was clean from the Democrat KLB.
In his youtub channel CokroTv, Ade Armando assessed that even though Moeldoko was involved in the Democrat Party outbreak, President Jokowi was certainly not involved because he himself did not get any benefit from the Democratic coup.
Ade also explained that a survey conducted by a well-known research institute, in which the public still believed in Jokowi’s leadership, made it impossible for him to make political noise which would actually damage his positive image.
Of course, the concrete steps that can be taken are an internal meeting between Jhonn Allen and AHY, there is no need to link the government to the uproar of the party, which is actually an internal problem.
Of course we hope that the two camps can provide explanations for each other without having to accuse each other. Because during the upheaval of the Democrat Party still going on, that’s when the public would make various assumptions that contributed to clouding the political atmosphere in Indonesia.
