Indonesia is still in the covid-19 pandemic. But slowly all activities return to normal, in an era of adaptation to new habits. People can work again outside the home, provided they must comply with health protocols, such as wearing a mask. Discipline to maintain hygiene is very necessary, to prevent corona.

The number of corona patients per day is increasing, even more than 1,000 people are infected with the Covid-19 virus. Plus, this respiratory disease can be transmitted through stuffy and dirty air. The corona vaccine is already in the research stage but has not yet been formalized. So the community is expected to continue to protect themselves from contracting the Covid-19 virus.

The government continues to socialize health protocols, so that people always implement them. Moreover, tourism has been reopened for more than 2 weeks, although it is only for local tourists. The community immediately refreshes to the beach or other recreational areas. They still have to be disciplined in adhering to health protocols, so they don’t catch the corona on the way.

Indeed, the capacity at tourist attractions is limited so that they adhere to the rules of maintaining distance. However, people still have to wear masks, both on trips and in recreational areas. In the bag, bring a hand sanitizer and when you enter, you must wash your hands. Payment is also in digital money, so you don’t worry about droplets carrying the Covid-19 virus on banknotes.

In areas included in the green zone, school buildings may be opened again. But it must meet health protocols. In addition, those who are allowed to organize face-to-face learning are high school students, after some time only junior high school. Even then, the entry is not every day. For elementary school students, the school has not yet been opened because children are more likely to catch corona.

Discipline in adhering to health protocols must be done. Moreover, the number of corona patients in Indonesia is more than 100,000 people. According to MPR Deputy Chairman Lestari Moerdijat, without strict adherence to health protocols, it would be difficult to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. So, people must be disciplined to stay healthy.

Unfortunately, maintaining discipline cannot be done 100% for some people in Indonesia. To overcome those who are lazy to wear masks, there is already a punishment for them. Those caught during mask raids must pay 150,000 rupiah or do social work. This punishment is regulated by the governor in each province.

People should be willing to comply with health protocols on their own awareness. Not because of fear of being fined or ashamed of having to sweep the streets and other social punishments. The socialization of protocols carried out by the covid-19 task force either via SMS, television or social media must be listened to and implemented properly. Don’t just be taken as the wind.

If they still insist on not wearing masks and instead say that corona is a conspiracy, this is very unfortunate. Even though every day there is news about the addition of Covid-19 patients. These stubborn people can be surprised by being given a video about the pathetic condition of a corona patient, or invited to see directly at the hospital.

Another factor why people do not comply with the protocol is economic conditions. There is a pity to spend money. Instead of buying a mask, it’s better to buy food. So they can be given free cloth masks during the donation program, not only basic food packages. You can also buy 2 dozen masks to give to people who aren’t wearing them.

The public is obliged to comply with health protocols to prevent transmission of corona. Moreover, this disease can also be transmitted via air. Wear a mask when on the move outside the home. If someone doesn’t wear a mask, don’t insult him. But just give them a mask. Hopefully this pandemic will pass soon.
