CIDISS. A total of 171 districts will hold a democracy celebration in 2018. As one of the political party moments, PIlkada 2018 is the most awaited moment not only from the candidates of the election, but from all parties. This is because this moment is an opportunity for the community in choosing the best candidates and know the right candidates to be given support.
Nevertheless, a number of election-related issues are still occurring, ranging from the neutrality of election organizers and the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), to money politics and SARA issues. In addition, there are also issues related to hate speech that discredit, voter list validity, dispute over results in the Constitutional Court (Constitutional Court), as well as issues of dispute between paslons.
Without good oversight from the organizers, elections 2018 will not run smoothly and can cause new problems that can hamper the achievement of a peaceful process of election of regional head.
It should be remembered that not only pilkada organizers can realize the creation of peaceful elections, but this role is also centered in the community. The active participation of the community in PIlKada is urgently needed, either by campaigning peacefully, reporting violations, not black campaigning, and not acting anarchically in addressing the existing problems. With the active and positive participation of the organizers and the community, peaceful elections will be achieved on their own.
