Palangka Raya, CIDISS – Discharge of Kahayan river and Barito in Kalimantan Tengah Province increased, it was because the high of rain intensity. Then almost 10.000 houses in along the river side were underwater. The people used boat for looking for fish and other for eating (struggle).
Not only in river side, but also a thousand houses in Palangka Raya road was on underwater, such as on Jalan Anoi, Mendawai, behind of Kahayan market.

Flood has had been being in some area of Palangka Raya since few days lately. The flood got a victim. Teenager, 14 years old, was found death after sink in full settlement, Jl.dr.Murjani, Gang Taufik, Palangka Raya, last Friday (13/2).

“Ya, I have given instruction to all Kodim and crew for maximal helping victim of flood together with regional government,” said agusto.
For every Kodim, augusto explained, his side prepared no less than two squad or more or less 60 personals. Besides that, Augusto added, his side ready help about logistic, such as tend, field kitchen and truck for evacuate. “We also prepare medical team for helping people who get flood,” said him.
