The government is trying hard to overcome the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing the 10M health protocol, national vaccination, PPKM, and providing social assistance. The community appreciates the hard work which has now succeeded in having a positive impact.

The pandemic makes our lives almost fall apart because the economy is affected and purchasing power has also decreased drastically. Both from the lower and upper classes of society, all almost fainted due to the effects of Corona. This situation can get worse if there is no control, and the government is trying hard so that we don’t get caught in a recession or economic crisis volume 2.

To overcome the ferocity of the Corona virus, the government first emphasizes rules regarding discipline in carrying out health protocols. The points are added continuously, from before it was only 3M, 5M, then now 10M. This addition is intended so that no one else is infected with Corona because this virus can land in the air and spread arbitrarily.

The community also obeys the Prokes rules, especially wearing masks and washing hands. Masks have become an item that must be worn when leaving the house and various colors of masks can be paired with clothes, so they look harmonious. Don’t forget to choose a mask with good filtration, not just cheap. Hand washing must also be done or replaced by using hand sanitizer.

Meanwhile, other points in Prokes are also supported, such as avoiding crowds, reducing mobility, increasing immunity, changing clothes, and keeping the environment clean. The public is aware that the increase in Covid cases occurs when mobility is high, therefore outside activities are limited and only essential. The environment is also continuously cleaned and the house is sprayed with disinfectant if possible.

In addition to complying with Prokes, the community also supports the national vaccination program. Vaccination is very important because it increases immunity from Corona attacks. Everyone is hunting for vaccines because they are still free of charge by the government, and if you want to move around by public transportation, you are often required to show your vaccine card or scan it with the Peduli Protect application.

Vaccination is also a requirement if someone wants to take a CPNS test. In addition, if there is an important event, such as business training, participants are required to show a vaccine card, at least the first dose. The use of a vaccine card is not discrimination for those who have not been vaccinated, but a way to prevent the spread of Corona.

In addition to vaccination, the government has also intensified PPKM. After a few weeks, many regions have dropped to PPKM level 1 and 2, so on year-end holidays everything must be subject to PPKM level 3. The reason is that if there is PPKM then mobility can be drastically reduced because ASN, private employees, and officials are prohibited from going home or going home. out of town vacation.

PPKM level 3 is back in effect because we saw last year’s incident, where after the long holiday, Corona patients exploded and the health workers were exhausted because the hospital was full. When PPKM is limited to mobility, visits to public places such as malls are also limited to a maximum of 50%. This is also to prevent the formation of crowds.

Social assistance is also a savior, especially for the poor. At first they got food packages but eventually they were replaced with money. The distribution of social assistance is also replaced by transfer so that it can be directly utilized, and at the same time reducing the potential for extortion. Even the social assistance was extended until 2022 considering the impact of the pandemic is still being felt.

Various programs are carried out by the government in order to overcome the negative impact of Corona. The strategy starts from Prokes, vaccinations, PPKM, to the provision of social assistance. All this is done to prevent the transmission of Corona and overcome the negative effects of the pandemic.
