Yogyakarta- Exciting news came from the BIN Jakarta Women’s Volleyball Team who managed to beat the first round winner, Jakarta Pertamina Fastron, with a score of 3-2 (25-21, 20-25, 16-25, 25-20, 15-9). With this victory, Jakarta BIN has successfully advanced to third place with 18 points.
The match was presented in the second round of the Proliga 2023 match at the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Sports Hall, Special Region of Yogyakarta.
Since the beginning of the first set, Team Jakarta BIN dominated the game with a score of 25-21. One of the players, Peiyan Chen, managed to master the game until Jakarta Pertamina Fastron was overwhelmed.
In the second and third sets, it was Jakarta BIN’s turn to be unable to stem the attacks from Jakarta Pertamina Fastron. This is because the change in player rotation at Jakarta BIN did not produce perfect results, leaving the scores 20-25 and 16-25.
The situation reversed in the fourth and fifth sets, where the Jakarta BIN team again controlled the game over Jakarta Pertamina Fastron with a score of 25-20, 15-9. Jakarta BIN is confirmed to be ready to fight in the Final Four.
Related to this, the Jakarta BIN coach, Octavian, assessed that today’s match was seen as the Final Four which aims to find a competitive mentality for his team. Even though there were mistakes in several sets that led to defeat, Octavian is optimistic that he can present victory in the Final Four later.
“We’ll see for the Final Four, we also have a lot of rotations. Alhamdulillah, the rotation was running even though there were obstacles, hopefully this match will give us confidence to face the Final Four,” said Octavian, Friday (17/2)
Furthermore, Octavian gave his full trust to Jakarta BIN to record a new history of victory.
“This is used as a reference for us as a new team, we also want to have targets, have achievements, in the Final Four the children can all be on fire, and we have entered the final four,” said Octavian.
In the same place, Outside Hitter from Jakarta BIN, Aulia Suci Nurfadila, revealed that the match against Jakarta Pertamina Fastron had experienced a few problems. Peiyan Chen’s rest in the middle of the set overwhelmed his team, but that way his team was able to overcome any shortfalls quickly.
“Alhamdulillah, it’s good, even though there are a few obstacles, maybe earlier Peiyan Chen was not feeling well, he wasn’t feeling well enough, so he dropped a bit, if there’s no pressure from the opponent. Hopefully we can do even better in the future and Jakarta BIN will win,” said Aulia.
As is well known, the BIN Jakarta Women’s Volleyball Team is part of a professional sports branch under the auspices of the BIN Sports Association or PORBIN.
