The community fully supports the firmness and commitment of the Government of Indonesia in eradicating and completely annihilating the Papuan Separatist and Terrorist Group (KST) which continue to spread terror with the many cruel and sadistic actions they have committed , even to the point where civilians and security forces become victims.
Gerindra Party politician Ferdinand Hutahaean admitted that he felt very sad when he heard the news that Indonesian National Armed Forces soldiers had died because they were shot by KST Papua some time ago.
Due to the attack, Ferdinand then asked President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to show more firmness in eradicating the group. According to him, it is time for KST Papua to be permanently eradicated. He also appealed to the security forces to send their best troops to finish off KST Papua.
As a result of the attack which resulted in the death of TNI personnel, the Head of the Indonesian Army Information Service (Kadispenad), Brigadier General Hamim Tohari stated that his party would carry out a thorough evaluation of the soldier development system for the purpose of military operations in Cenderawasih Earth.
How could it not be, because the death of a Battalion Yonif R 321/GT soldier named Pratu Miftahul Arifin when he carried out a rescue operation for Pilot Susi Air in Nduga, Papua Mountains made all parties immediately condemn and strongly condemn the many sadistic actions carried out by KST Papua.
Brigadier General Hamim also added that the KSAD had ordered all ranks to be able to continue preparing their troops to support all forms of operational tasks in accordance with the policies issued by the TNI Commander. Not only that, they will take the necessary strategic steps in accordance with the main tasks and functions as well as the authority and responsibilities that exist in the Indonesian Army.
Hamim added that the Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman expressed his condolences for the death of a TNI AD soldier who was carrying out his duties in Papua. In particular, the incident that happened to the Yonif Task Force is concrete evidence of how barbaric separatist and terrorist groups in Papua are who continue to spread terror against the public and security forces while carrying out state duties.
Meanwhile, the main expert at the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), Theofransus Litaay stated that the series of sadistic, cruel and terror acts that continue to be carried out by KST Papua are not actually due to the lack of welfare efforts that have been carried out by the Government of Indonesia in Papua. On the contrary, until now, the government continues to be strongly committed to increasing prosperity in the Land of Papua.
However, the fact is that there are continuing disturbances of security stability carried out by a number of separatist and terrorist groups because there are several parties who do not like the development carried out by the government at all, because with the development of welfare that the government continues to strive for in Cenderawasih Land, in fact able to reduce the group’s influence on society.
Therefore, they absolutely do not want their influence to diminish so they continue to terrorize and attack civilians. Until now, the government continues to strive to take firm action against all acts of terror committed by KST Papua using various approaches.
On another occasion, Chairperson of the Indonesian Millennial Mahas i swa Alliance (AMMI), Nurkhasanah hoped that the security forces made up of joint personnel consisting of the TNI, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) could act decisively and measuredly in taking action against KST Papua. He also emphasized that he strongly condemns all the actions of the separatist and terrorist groups.
In the same vein, the Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law and Security (Menko Polhukam), Mahfud MD emphasized that the government would not negotiate with KST Papua, which in fact they really want to be independent from Indonesia. Firmly, he admitted that the Government would truly defend every inch of the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) and would eradicate all groups that wanted to take or disturb the territory of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
In order to save Pilot Susi Air who was taken hostage by KST Papua led by Egianus Kogoya, the government continues to make efforts to take a persuasive approach. The reason is, it is very important to be able to prioritize hostage safety . So that a persuasive approach is taken so that the hostages can be safe, peaceful and without chaos.
Indeed, all the actions of KST Papua are very sadistic and heinous and even very inconsistent with humanity. Therefore, the government’s efforts to eradicate these separatist and terrorist groups very decisively deserve full support.
