Beware of Provocateurs’ Efforts to Fail the Inauguration of the Elected President and Vice President

The arrest of a Lecturer of IPB some time ago was considered to have other indications. It is suspected that the perpetrators planned that the demonstration would end in a riot in order to crush the inauguration of the elected President and Vice President.
The nature of an educator is to provide the best example for his students. Especially the title of a lecturer who gives lessons to students who incidentally has a higher meaning than a teacher. It should be more accountable. A person with a lecturer degree certainly has credibility in terms of education. It is impossible for this teaching staff to be taken haphazardly from the university.
Even with what happened in the demonstration some time ago. The lecturer with the initials AB was found to be carrying a number of Molotov cocktails during the demonstration. This well-known university lecturer in Bogor is also suspected to be a rioting demonstration designer. Earlier, AB was arrested by security forces from the Jakarta Police. The police also secured 29 Molotov cocktails that were kept in his residence. Namely Pakuan Regency Linggabuana Housing, West Bogor District, Bogor City.
Menristekdikti, Muhammad Nasir stated, even though the investigation process had been submitted to the authorities. However, his party asked all parties to participate in guarding the process of action against this AB suspect. According to him, if the suspect is proven guilty then he must accept the consequences in accordance with the procedure. Met in the same place, IPB Rector Arif Satria stated that his party was still waiting for the legal process to take place before following up the AB related to ethics and norms as a lecturer.
In addition, Arif said that he had coordinated with the AB family. He admitted that he was surprised when AB was suspected of being the perpetrators of the riot demonstration planning a few days ago. Arif explained that AB actually has a good temperament, likes to help and includes people who provide a lot of inspiration. No doubt if he was liked by many other colleagues. AB suspect was arrested for allegedly violating Article 1 paragraph (1) Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 regarding criminal offenses. Namely, making, carrying, storing, controlling, handing over, transporting, or carrying out the business of delivering explosives. In addition to AB itself, there are five other suspects who were also secured by the police due to an anarchist act of provoking the use of explosives during the demonstration. But the police have not stated clearly which demonstrations will be targeted by the alleged group. They were secured in the Cipondoh area of Tangerang City.
Wiranto, as the Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security, also gave a statement regarding this matter, if the police were developing a case. He hopes to be able to uncover an even bigger network. So that all perpetrators of anarchism can be found who want to destabilize this beloved country. Wiranto considered if the demonstration that had occurred had led to riots. Namely, damaging, breaking the rules to attack the officers. Therefore, the authorities no longer carry out anti-demonstration measures but are anti-rioting.
In connection with this condition, Wiranto stated that all parties were permitted to hold demonstrations. However, he requested that this action must obey all the rules stipulated in the law. Because if not, it is feared that it will disturb the community and its activities. Furthermore, he asked all parties who would carry out demonstrations not provoked to carry out acts of anarchism. Because this kind of thing will cause harm to all parties.
AB is known as a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). The campus did not dismiss about the arrest of one of the teaching staff. Separately, the Head of the Mujahid Action Committee 212, Edy Mulyadi explained that AB and the five suspects had nothing to do with the action he was leading. He explained that their plan only gave speeches and did not create riots. The AB family also said that the suspect’s condition was okay. So the family appealed that there would be no movement in this regard.
From the arrest of the AB suspect, it is suspected that there are indications of an attempt to mount a demonstration with other interests. However, it is better if we wait for further information from the police regarding this case. Regardless of whether or not the action taken by the suspect, of course this is very unfortunate. Given this AB is an educator who should be a role model for his students. Hopefully this case will be finished soon and we will find out the truth regarding this matter.
